Jillian Michaels scares me- I tried to do one of her workouts once and spent several minutes afterward just breathing like I was in labor and the baby was crowning or something. Bitch does not play when it comes to getting her fitness on.

Heigl always looks like she is copying the J.Crew catalog pictures - what works on the printed page doesn't look quite right in real life.
I don't have breasts (well, other than the ones a normal 50-year old man has), but I would think that it would not be comfortable to run without a bra unless you were virtually flat-chested, and she isn't, is she? But she IS 18 or 19, and that should help for now.
I am not understanding why Miley thinks it is cool/hipster/hippie to wear no bras. I'm sure some would like to see them flopping like basset hound ears in the wind, but I sure as hell can do without that visual every day.

You know, even if I were just sitting around my house, if I had suffered a severe bump to the head and decided to start wearing shirts with NO SIDES TO THEM, I would at least wear a cami or something under there. Having your tits flopping around is not attractive, nor will it be your friend once you are no longer a teen, Miley. In fact, she's already looking pretty flapjacky due to her persistent bralessness.

@Texshan - Jillian said she was misquoted on that (and I tend to believe her) - basically she said that in order to get pregnant, she'd have to have major surgery (for endometriosis and PCOS) and she couldn't handle doing *that* do her body.

Meg -- my understanding was that she wasn't misquoted, but that she says her quotes were "misconstrued." Which is a way of saying, "Yes, I said that, but now I'm going to say that people misunderstood me because I'm taking heat for it that I didn't expect." This is a favorite backpedal for interview subjects. I am a former reporter, and people often claim they were misquoted or misunderstood just because they didn't realize how much they sounded like an asshole until they read it in print. It's quite common.

@Texshan -- I looked it up and you're right, she said what she said was misconstrued (not misquoted - the actual quote was “I can’t handle doing that to my body”). While I agree that's often that's an excuse for something that sounds assholey (I know that's not a real word), I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt as the context in the interview isn't really clear. Plus, she's had some body image and reproductive issues that would make being pregnant difficult for her emotionally and physically.
Now lest you think I'm a Jillian "fan", I like her DVDs and that's about it (don't watch her shows, etc.). Even then sometimes her methods annoy me ;-) (I have PCOS as well, so this was heavily discussed on our message boards as you can imagine, thus my defense of her statement).
Is it a status symbol to adopt a child of a different race? What about all these kids here in the US hoping for adoption that are a bit older. Sorry - I don't really have respect for celebrities who follow the trend. A better trend is to help the kids here and give them a good life. There are SO MANY it is sad and yet these people need to go overseas to adopt babies? Every state has page after page of kids that need a family -- sorry you don't get any respect from me.
Cool, Meg. I don't know if I believe her or not -- she seems pretty vain, but she does have medical issues, as well, so that could be a legit reason. In the end, I guess it doesn't matter if I believe her. She got her little tyke, and as long as she's a good mommy to her, that's all that matters.
Leslie, the issues those kids likely have take many times the time and energy of a baby who hasn't been messed up by crappy parents. Yes, it's incredibly admirable when someone adopts an older kid, but it's not for everyone.
Other women's boobs do not do a thing for me, so I can't really fathom the freakout/ collective clutching of pearls y'all have going. Don't consider Miley dressed "slutty" though the guys do consider the sideboob to be sexy.

I do believe side-boobage can be sexy if pulled off by the right girl, with the right outfit, for the right event/occasion. Miley is not that girl, that outfit is a big NO (at least on her- maybe it could look good on someone else?), and running down the street on a random Tuesday is not the time or place. Alot of the children here have serious serious problems. I know a girl who adopted 3 kids , 2 boys and a girl. The gurl is extremely promosicious- shes11!-and the one boy, 12- has all sorts of issues, autistic, adhd, add, and as griwing older, is regressing- back in diapers at 12. The littlest boy is developmentally challenged. All this girl dies is go to therapy and docyors. A psychologist actually stayed with them for 2 weeks, 8to5!! Other friends hv gotten children with reactive attatchnent disordr, fetal alcohol syndrome snd other sever problems. I fong blame the children for a minute, but its very hard gor adoptive psrents who jusy wanted a "normal" family.
A child who is adopted obviously needed a home and family, so any adoption does not bother me (except for Woody Allan child to wife-ugh) and we do not know where she adopted this little girl, it could have been in the US. Maybe there is info out there. In interviews she has talked about adopting for a long time.
Ok I'll say it, I love Katherine Heigl and I thought she was hilarious in One for the Money and I hope she does another in that series.

After hearing some horror stories about what happens to your bod during pregnancy and after, i can't really hate JM for saying that. Not everyone is dying to go thru pregnancy but that doesn't mean they'll be a shitty mom b/c they didn't pop a kid out. She has waited a long time sonim happy for her. That little one is CUTE!
