Tom Cruise Kisses A Woman
Granted Tom Cruise was just kissing his co-star Olga Kurylenko, but it is the first kiss he has shared with a woman post split with Katie. And of course it was caught on camera, which is what Tom loves so that way people can start speculating about who he might be with next. Olga might not be a bad choice. She could use the publicity. Tom could use someone who is desperate enough to sign a long term contract. From the looks of the kiss it looks about as sterile as Tom and Katie's marriage.

I wish I could read Tommy Girl's mind right now. My guess is most of his thoughts are about how to take Katie out and make it look like an accident. He's watching a lot of Lifetime movies to get ideas. Also may be the number one agenda item at COS meetings.

Side note: I was stopped by a woman in NYC last week who gave me a pamphlet. I looked down and read something that said E-meter and Scientology and I literally gasped, shoved it back at her, and walked away like Xenu itself was chasing me. You know, people say that Tom Cruise is or isnt gay all the time. Ive never been sure either way before. But honestly he tried SO hard to audition a woman as his wife (katie) and now there seem to be carefully strategic rumors about Olga....why else would a man put this much effort into his heterosexuality if it wasnt to hide something?
Now I think he's 100% gay. And ironically he spent 50 mill one the whole Katie relationship deal and this cinched it for me. What a delusional twatbag.

"Real" or for the movie, that's got to be the most unconvincing kiss I've ever seen--I don't know about you, but most guys whose hands & arms aren't otherwise engaged tend to put them around the person they're kissing; his, though, are just hanging limply by his side.

Admittedly, I haven't seen a Tom Cruise movie since way before the couch-jumping episode, but is my assumption correct that he rarely, if ever, plays a romantic lead in movies. Aren't they mostly action flicks?

I don't think that Tom got blind-sided by Katie. I think both of their lives are staged to manipulate the public, just like this photo.

I have no feelings about his sexuality. I ho back and forth. After reading his bio I came away thinking he's an asexual narcissist who probably masturbates more because he is in love with himself. There's a funny quote from him though, describing flying and how its very erotic, how your bent over grabbing your legs, grabbing your ass and grunting. I laughed out loud. That sounded like extreme constipation to me or perhaps some back door action. He could be very flexible. The dude, you gotta admit, on the physical front, is very capable, masters every sport he gets into, foes his own stunts, I truly believe his most intense romance is only with himself. Anyway, maybe his new fake relationship has nothing to do with sexuality rumors but is just designed to take attention away from his divorce and CO$. Who knows.

Anyone else read Dyan Cannon's recent book about her marriage and divorce from Cary Grant?
The parallels to the Tom/Katie divorce are remarkable. Established Hollywood icon with several marriages behind him (and rumors of gay affairs) pursues and wins much younger TV actress. Turns out to be miserable and controlling husband. Forces questionable spiritual beliefs on unwilling wife. (Grant took LSD several times a week and pressured Dyan Cannon to do the same.) One daughter is born, and then wife finally leaves husband.
In the Grant/Cannon case, the divorce was public and ugly, but it was forgotten over time and Cary Grant is one of the most respected names in Hollywood history. Cannon had a breakdown, won an Oscar, then had another breakdown. Their daughter, actress Jennifer Grant, adored her father and wrote a book about their wonderful relationship.
Incidentally, I agree with the posters above that Tom's chief relationship is probably with his own career. I also doubt that he was 'blindsided' by news that conveniently came out right around a major holiday when most people's attention was focused elsewhere.
And other posters have already said this, but I must agree: I find it incredibly offensive when Cruise is referred to as "Tommy Girl.". Not offensive to him, but to women and gays alike. Why should it be humiliating to be female or gay? Call him Sciento-Tommy, or L.Ron Cruise, or Creepy Cruise, whatever. Thank you.

Don't feel like mocking his height, which he was born with, but the lifts are his own mistake.
He seemed comfortable with his shortness in Rock of Ages, although he does not seem to be part of the same fun-and-hairspray musical the restof the cast is making.
He's doing a meditation on the intoxications, disappointments, and isolations of an arena rock star, and he does it well. Very Axl Rose circa 1995. If Hollywood didn't hate Tom so much, he might get a best supporting actor nomination for it. Saw it in the theatre, but will download at some point and skip the other actors' scenes, which are wretched, except for CZJ, who has some great dance scenes filled with Moms in classics 80s outfits.

I dont care about his sexuality, but I think he probably goes with what suits his needs or purposes at the time..he comes across as a true narcissist.
Nicole did have at least 2 miscarriages during their marriage, she has been quite open about them, and spoke of her problems again when she had her second child with Keith, by surrogate. She was pregnant when his lawyer announced to her that Tom was divorcing her; that shows the true character of the "man". She kept DNA evidence the baby was his when she miscarried...again that says a lot about the "man".
I too have not watched a Tom movie since prior to the couch jumping days and was quite upset that he was in "rock of ages", I find it impossible to see tom and not see tom the zealout, and I refuse to add my money to scientololgies coffers.

I met Tom Cruise once. He was hanging out doing this interview for an hour or so. It was really interesting to see this kind of salesman up close and his little tricks for controlling the room and racking up PR points. He works so hard to control every little piece. I looked around the room and correctly guessed every person he would approach for photos and chit chat based on how badly he needed his movie to succeed at the time. He has some interesting little tactics, that guy.
He looks so at ease and so totally into it.
