The Critic said...: I work in an area that has a huge Indian immigrant population and see daily the old women dressed in their sari's with bulging gut and back fat exposed. So yes, it's done. And I mean no offense, but it's as bad as seeing the fat women wearing tube tops and short, latex skirts. It's just wrong.; 1:43 PM

I think Jess Simp looks wonderful-body wise-and her face is so fresh...the exact opposite of Kristie, who also looks good in the body.

To respond about Indian culture (which I'm obsessed with) the sari is defintely an accepted form of dress for women of all ages-however it usually comes up higher in the waist-not actually exposing the bellybutton.

One of the gazillion things I love about Modern Indian culture is Bollywood. We get all the latest Bollywood premiers where I live, and I tell you it is whole different kind of film experience, especially on the big screen. Western movies look like superbowl commercials in comparison!

There is a large amount of skin AND sexuality in these movies yet there is something intrinscally chaste about them. It is really interesting to watch. Even though there will be a dance scene with all sorts of sexualized choreography, the movie will seem far less...graphic/explicit than a western film.

Lastly, I LOVE that Indian women feel so comfortable with their bodies that they don't mind showing some rolls. On them, it looks dignified and sexy to me.; 6:13 AM
