The pair quit because of the disagreements they had with the owners of the station and the station's journalistic integrity. Management says the two were on the way out anyway.

Oh. That wasn't very interesting. I was wanting to see someone jump up and scream, "FUCK YOU, COCKSUCKERS!!!" And instead, they went out classy??? Pfff
It wasn't obvious they were quitting on air. It sounded like a preplanned goodbye, as if they had given two weeks notice.
Must be nice to just quit like that. Wish I could.

I saw this on the AOL homepage yesterday, this wasn't pre-planned. They didn't give notice, since they knew if they did the station wouldn't let them say goodbye on the air and just sprung it on them so they could say their goodbyes to the audience.
I love this. Hope they (or he, at least) go on a different station. I'd watch!

I guess they had to go out classy though. Who would hire them after this if they jumped on the table and mooned America? Okay well I would but not many others will.
