This married couple is still married but it is pretty much for show. She is an A list singer who drags her husband out of the house for shopping and things. The only reason she is keeping him around is because she has a new album coming out and doesn't want to talk about marriage. She doesn't wear her wedding ring even when they are out together. She makes him sleep in the guest house or at his friends. Meanwhile she has "friends" who come stay with her.

I watched a Behind The Music or E! True Hollywood Story of her and she was speaking about her husband and she seemed to really love him. It was filmed quite awhile ago.
I think she DID love him but she was too shitty and it fell apart. He seems like a decent guy (since he never trashed her in the press). Sad.

I think he was kind of keeping her on the straight and narrow and when Britney was suddenly single gal on the town (otherwise known as having a meltdown), Christina got jealous of the publicity and the lifestyle and realized she still had wild oats to sew. She dumped him, started drinking and gained like 50 lbs. So really, this analogy doesn't work. Because she would be more like KFed.

I agree with Hunter that she really did love Jason but she is such a Diva (with a capital D) that she couldn't settle for being in 50% of a relationship when she deserves 100% because she IS, after all, thee Christina Aguilera.

I must be the only one that still likes her, I think she's a good person but with many unresolved issues and that's why she's acting out. It seemed like she loved her ex husband but she was probably expecting too much out of their marriage and ended up being dissapointed. Sorry, amateur psychologist here, lol

She has produced two or three really great tracks in her lifetime, and an ocean of dreck. I think I haven't stopped laughing from when she claimed that she never wanted to be a big star, or when she wrenched "artistic freedom" back under her own control to do that ridiculous "Oh yeah, I wanna get diry, get banged -- by twenty or -- thirty" song. She's quite often pathetic.
Still, "Not Myself Tonight" and "Hurt" are genius, so go figure.
She is not a good person. Yes, personal real life knowledge. And I laugh my ass off that she looks so awful and no one will tell her so because they're all scared of her.
