Blind Items Revealed

July 7, 2011

Being married to a wealthy actor probably has its benefits, but as this bride is learning, it can also be a pain in the butt. Our actor is a solid B lister, probably forever because of all his television work. Although lately it has been slacking, he had a very, very good run. His forays into movies have always sucked.

Our actor requires his wife to ask what she can wear that day. He also requires that she only speaks at parties when she is spoken to, and cannot offer up any tidbits on her own, especially while our actor is speaking. The wife must eat at the same time as our actor. All expenses she incurs must be approved in advance by him. Oh, and she has to ask permission before getting to leave the house alone.

i thought alec baldwin. explains a lot. i think he actually hates women.

timebob said...

she got the kid now so that is guaranteed money if/when she ditches.

She was working as an airline stewardess when she met him. Her lifestyle is still 100x higher now even when asking permission. She seems to like it I guess.

I knew frasier was crazy !

All this, and they get to sleep with Kelsey Grammar ! Win win surely ?

Sugar said...

What a life! He's controlling and according to Camille, has a small penis. Winning combo!

Ella Bella Boo said...

I dunno maybe im wierd but i'd find that kind cute if my partner was slightly like that. Not quite as controlling though.

timebob said...

I was actually bummed when Starz canceled Boss. Kelsey was so perfect for that role and he played it to the hilt.

Meanie Reese said...

Um...no! There's nothing cute about someone wanting to control another person!

So...small peen, hates women and wants to control everything? No, thanks...I'll pass. Next!

TuesdayAdams said...

Karma.

Ella Bella Boo said...

Resse i probably worded that wrong. Im an anxiety ridden mess so when my partner steps up for me ots rather endearing as i can barely leave the house on my own except to see my shrink bit my partner seems to think itis just a phase and i shall 'toughen up eventually"

Sherry said...

I couldn't deal with that shit for a day. Unless you're bringing some awesome dick to the party your ass would be gone so fast it would make your head spin.

Meanie Reese said...

EllaBooBoo (love that name!)...my apologies, hon! I, too, have anxiety disorders and know too well where you're at! If your hubs helps you to deal, more power to you!! I'm happy to read that you're getting help and I wish you the very best luck in getting over the hell that is anxiety! Tight hugs!

Sherry! Tell it, sistah!! lmao

How else to go from a Virgin flight attendant to a Park Avenue penthouse inside a month? Kayte Walsh is getting everything she deserves.

g.strathmore said...

She made the choice. I guess in her case, marriage really is just a form of prostitution.

T. E. Cuz said...

since this is 2011, wouldnt the bride in question be cammille (sp)?

i'm sure kayte is dealing with this stuff too, but seeing cammille on RHBH, i can understand why she left and why she is so much happier now.

Anna said...

Kelsey is very talented - "Boss" was superb. But he's not hot enough for a girl to put up with this.

SusanB said...

I like his acting, couldn't care less about him personally. However, if all this stuff comes from Camille - I'd take it with a grain of salt. She strikes me as vindictive and not above lying to make herself look like the injured party.

Cee Kay said...

@Cuz - Kelsey and Camille separated in 2010. Yep, this is for Kayte (what a stupid spelling!), and she's the definition of a whore.

Nellie said...

Hey Ella. I have been there. I am taking some medication now that helps so much. I fought it for a long time too. I was fine with taking stuff as needed but didn't want to take a daily. Wish I had started years ago. Hope things get better for you soon!

Ruby Soho said...

Nope.
He married Kayte in February 2011

Mango said...

I took the small dick comments as Camille just being bitchy.

That aside, this chickie lived with Kelsey for months before marrying him and she could have flown the coop but decided she wanted to marry this prize, so she this must be no surprise to her.

I think Kelsey is a major asshole and don't mean to defend him, however: Katye (or whatever her name is) is the flight attendant wife of an A-lister so no one at a Hollywood party probably give's a rat's ass what she has to say, unless it's something that can be used against them, so maybe he's protecting her from herself.

Same goes for the clothing, he might be worried about the paps taking a pic of her in something unflattering.

After spend-thrift Camille he might want to scrutinize her purchases, I get that.

But the eating at the same time? I can't eat when I'm hungry??? FUCK THAT.

Thankyou for your support people. It means alot then you realise knowing that someone cares! Xo

Unless this is some sort of Dominant / Submission relationship and is consensual, he sounds like a total self-absorbed jackass.

Steppy said...

It must be quite a change to suddenly have such a high profile lifestyle.

Most of us are not used to being photographed while pumping gas, having our purchases publicly reviewed or having unscrupulous people record every word we utter.

He insists they share meals - good. That's the way families eat.

Relax and stop being so judgmental.

That sounds like a kinky good time for someone.

Not for me.

Especially not with Kelsey Grammar.

@Ella, Reeses & Nellie - you are not alone. I know when I'm having an anxiety flare when I become extremely afraid of heights. I'm already afraid of heights, so when the anxiety kicks in, I start being afraid of things like walking down a long staircase or standing on an upper deck (sometimes even seeing someone else standing on something high). It's very useful to know at least one specific sign of your anxiety so you can at least talk to yourself about it and recognize that you're not nuts, it's just an anxiety attack, it'll pass. Lather, rinse, repeat. And meds help more than you know.

Fifty Shades of Frasier, anyone?

prolixe said...

Sorry, that turned into a PSA. I'm sure you all know how to handle your anxiety issues.

Prolixe, don't apologise, you may ave helped someone & don't even realise it. Besides, this is the week for PSA's, remember my how to treat spider bites from the other day. One of the things I love about CDAN is the input from the commentators & people sharing their struggles & triumphs.

Its funny, i am having a flare up of my autoimmune disease and the mentals that go with it. Such a misery!!!!! Dont even know how to explain how i feel. Sorry to all my friends suffering, i understand. :)

Hi Ella! Another anxiety ridden mess here, with a husband that puts up with it but certainly isn't too understanding. I miss the world outside but when I get there (usually the doc or groceries only now) that world seems to have gotten much larger than I can handle. Hang in there. Thank God for online life.

Sugar - in addition he's also old and bald. I might do it for a hot and sane guy like Mickey Rourke in 9 1/2 weeks, for about 9 1/2 weeks.

prolixe said...

@auntliddy, YES! It is hard to explain the tie, that feeling of something's not right but you can't put your finger on it. Hope your flare is short-lived!

To all my fellow anxiety disorder sufferers - I feel your pain! Use the meds that help you, and know that you're not alone.

Ella Bella keep your chin up, kiddo! People are generally so caring and understanding.

Best wishes! :)

There's a big difference between looking out for someone and helping them navigate the shoals of celebrity, and being a controlling jackass, and I'd say he's crossed it bigtime, especially with not being allowed to leave the house alone w/out permission.

Hasn't it been said that, if you marry for money, you'll have to earn every penny? There's no amount of money that would make this kind of behavior acceptable to me. Money's a good thing--trust me, as someone who's dealing w/the significant lack thereof at the moment, I know that--but I've always felt that if you wouldn't marry them if they weren't loaded, then you damn sure shouldn't do it if they are. Money doesn't always last, as we all know; character is what counts, and this robin refuses to be a bird in a gilded cage. (Granted, I'm not exactly trophy wife material, so this is no doubt a moot issue, but I'm just stating it for the record. :-)

I think that kinda shit would make me hate an awesome dick. Like, OK peen, you're great & all, stop bein a dick.

Well Robin you said it much more eloquently than I.

This man sets off my creep alarm, even before the reveal. He just seems a bit...off. More so than other actors.

dia papaya said...

Extreme Like @Sherry!

Perfectly stated! Although controlling man child + awesome dick party = potential sex slave.

I don't think any man is worth that. Especially not KG! This is why I will ALWAYS work. As much as I love my guy, I'm too independent to be 100% under anyone's thumb.

PuggleWug said...

Ella, I've been there, things get better eventually. For a time, I barely left the house as a teen, too many panic attacks. I'm 26 now, have been taking meds, and still see a therapist (for more than anxiety), and things are pretty normal! I still deal with anxiety, I think I always will, it just isn't crippling. My husband is awesome, and understanding that certain places may trigger my anxiety more than others. You aren't alone, and you aren't weird because you suffer from it! It is actually amazing how many people suffer from anxiety disorders, it's something that can make one feel so alone. Sorry for going waaaay off topic.

I think Camille, and now Kayte (I loathe that spelling) weren't surprised by Kelsey's actions after marrying him. I'm sure they knew the kind of douche he was. I still laugh when Camille makes cracks about his small dong on Real Housewives.

dia papaya said...

To all of you out there with anxiety disorders, there is hope! I used to suffer from horrible panic attacks too.

I want to do a shout out for acupuncture (again). I know it helped me and now I help treat others for anxiety. You can have a better life!! Don't give up. Sometimes finding the right therapist, practitioner, acupuncturist takes time. But finding the right person can make all the difference to your recovery. Big hugs to you all!!

PugsterMom said...

There's probably a kernel of truth in this story but it's probably way embellished for entertainment sake.

Pini 27 said...

Hey, I would like to think that I could never do this. But I try not to knock someone for gold digging, its real easy to have the moral high ground when there is no chance of having to make a choice like this.

He's getting what he wants and I guess she is too. Its sad for a young woman to give up bringing children into a relationship between two people who truly love each other (at least at conception) but hey, I guess that's why he doesn't make them get a pre-nup. Perhaps its a perfect match of two shallow people.

Kloie said...

Please, nobody mention Kelsey and "great dick" in the same paragraph again. It makes me throw up in my mouth a little.

warmislandsun said...

The only part of this story that I find unbelievable is that this Kayte person was a Virgin airline stewardess. She is so plain. I don't see it. Sometimes she even looks like a boy.

The name Kayte reminds me of the bird seed company.

There's so much planning ahead involved in that relationship. I couldn't deal. I want to eat when I'm hungry, speak when I have a great quip and buy clothes ALL THE TIME!
