Blind Item #3

This Academy Award winner/nominee B list mostly movie actress ran into a co-star (A- list mostly movie actress) from a movie they were both in several years ago. Our Academy Award winner asked the actress out to dinner and she accepted. They went out and the Academy Award winner made lots of moves on the other actress which were repeatedly rebuffed. Not to be deterred though, a new car showed up at the home of the actress the next day in hopes of having her advances accepted. Still no luck, but the actress did keep the car.

  1. I don't have a good guess, but it's a little crass to keep the car isn't it?

  2. Do the right thing, give back the car!

  3. I got it! Jodie Foster and Kristen Stewart

    ReplyDelete
  4. Good guess, VIP! I got nothin'.....

  5. Why don't I ever get the lesbians that send new cars when you turn them down?

Didn't Jodie Foster play KStew's mother when she was about 7? Gross.

  7. So it's definetely an Academy Award winner. Enty did his usual Academy Award winner/nominee but as he continued writing he just put Academy Award winner.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I'm with the Jodie/Kristin guess.

    ReplyDelete
  9. No way it's Jodie Foster, she's definitely A list not B list!

    ReplyDelete
  10. That being said, no clue!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Several means 7, if you want to be literal! Jodie and Kristin was much more recent.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Hey! Come see about me!! ;) I've never driven but if she wants to throw in a driver, I'm game! Or a new kitchen...

    ReplyDelete
  13. I would call Jodie Foster solid A list. She can get any movie she wants made.

Is Marcia Gay Harden gay? She was in Into the Wild with KS

    ReplyDelete
  14. What is the fascination with K.Stew? I don't see it.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Why shouldn't she keep the car...

    ReplyDelete
  16. If someone offered up a car in Hollywood land of get it while you can why the heck not? Was the academy winner hoping to trade a car for ?? Besides, if the academy person didn't want her to have it she'd just have it repossessed or not draw up the proper title, ect..

    ReplyDelete
  17. The more important question: What kind of car?!?

    ReplyDelete
  18. How would Jodie Foster be B list and Kristen Stewart A- list? Kristen S couldn't open a movie, Jodie has opened plenty.

Jodie Foster and K Stew, return the car if you're not interested. Money can't buy love.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Just to be different how about hilary swank and mia wasikowska - they were in Amelia together...

    ReplyDelete
  21. But it does buy reliable transportation.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Oh hell no...she doesn't have to trade her body for a gift. If you don't like it don't give them a car. After all they were rebuffed repeatedly. I believe she made it pretty clear.

Have no idea who though. I don't think it's Kristen but it could be Jodie.

    ReplyDelete
  23. No way is KStew A-. I wish Enty would be a little clearer in his/her writing.

    ReplyDelete
  24. How about Kelly McGillis and Jodie. They both worked together and at one time had a relationship. Maybe she was over her. She could use a car too.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Jodie Foster is an A list...and there is absolutely no way that Kristen Stewart is an A list. Another thing, Jodie has been with her girlfriend for years. This is NOT her.

Kelly was never nominated for an Oscar.

What about Juno girl and Drew?

    1. Jodie and her partner split up. She spoke abou it in her lifetime achievement speech. Said she was lonely.

  26. Ellen Page and Drew Barrymore.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Jodie and her GF broke up. Remember the speech a couple months ago?

  28. "Several means 7, if you want to be literal! Jodie and Kristin was much more recent."

'Panic Room' was released in 2002.

    ReplyDelete
  29. And just because you don't like her doesn't mean K.Stew isn't A- list. She's definitely one of the most famous actresses around, and they even caved and gave her Snow White 2 back despite her troubles.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Ellen Page w/Marion Cotilliard? W/inception being the movie?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Jolie ANC Winona

    ReplyDelete
  32. This could be anybody, sheese. Way to be vague Ent

    ReplyDelete
  33. No fucking WAY is this Jodie. Shame on any of you who thought of her.

    *tsk tsk*

    ReplyDelete
  34. Lol Natalie Portman and ScarJo?

    ReplyDelete
  35. I like Mel's guess of Hilary Swank. That Mia W is SO friggin' amazing.

Did Enty accidentally drop the pretense that it was MAYBE just a nominee, in the second reference as a straight-out "winner"? Swank sure has a shit-ton o' Oscars, but still totally B-list.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Hey, Eve it's funny our agreement w/ Mel was at the same time. Did you feel our 'Jedi Mind Meld' just before?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Just to stir the poop pot I would say it was GOOP and ScarJo. They starred in IronMan 2 together.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Alison Brie and Gillian Jacobs? Or maybe that was just a recurring dream.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Did Queen Latifah ever get a nom for Chicago? Maybe this is her? I don't know who the other actress would be though. Jodie seems too obvious a guess, plus she's not mostly movie, she's all movies. Latifah has done both movies and tv.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Queen WAS nominated, yes.....But isn't she in a LTR? Like since forever?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock just because I love Practical Magic.

    Midnight margaritas woohoo

    ReplyDelete
  42. I never saw Panic Room, was Kristin good in it? ALso she was pretty young then I don't see Jodie trying to seduce her.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Jodie foster is still A list? really? when was the last time she was in a movie? hate her all you want be K stew is getting lots of movies. the rating system isn't always about talent, just who's popular right now!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Keeping the car means she is interested, but her price hasn't been met yet.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Given the pushiness, I vote Brange for the A lister, and maybe Winona for the B lister? Although there are many possibles.

And lol, Upside! Probably quite true. : )

    ReplyDelete
  46. @MacAttack, Jodi has won multiple Best Actress Oscars, multiple Best Actress Golden Globes, 2013's Cecil B. DeMille Award, among a host of others. When you've accomplished enough and accumulated enough awards, you get lifetime A list recognition.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Seems to me the car was a way to buy silence. If no moves have been made to repossess the "gift" the giver and the receiver understand the giving.

    ReplyDelete
  48. @Ms yes, she was good in it. Very good movie too. You should catch it some day.

    ReplyDelete
  49. LONG time lurker, first time poster here. I'm thinking Penelope and Selma. Perhaps, that's just a fantasy...

    ReplyDelete
  50. Charlize and Angelina (In my mind).
    xD

I have no idea, was thinking either AJ/Charlize for the winner/nominee, but they are not B-list. Meh

    ReplyDelete
  51. sorry for being pedantic, but several usually means 3 or 4 (at least, that's what my mom taught me). dictionary.com says it is defined as 'more than 2 but fewer than many', although that's not much more specific...

in any case, Panic Room was over 10 years ago so that definitely rules out Jodie and Kristen (thank god). I could see Latifa doing something like this, and I'm pretty sure the latest rumor was that she and her lady broke up. No idea on the co-star though. Although the Queen was only nominated and the second reference seems to imply a winner. back to the drawing board for me!

    1. Thanks @Amy, I was coming to say the same thing re several. Several is more than a few which is more than a couple.

The word for seven is seven.

    2. That might have come off a bit snarky. Sorry, baby has decided I only get 4 hours sleep a night so my 'appropriateness' filter is malfunctioning.

  52. Sandra Bullock and....?

  53. Sharon Stone and somebody. Sharon was nominated for Casino and won a Golden Globe for it.

I'd kiss a snatch for a new car, why not shiietttttt

  55. Anna Paquin and Ellen Page?
(X-Men Last Stand together in 2007, I think.)

    ReplyDelete
  56. The only actress I can think of who would be arrogant enough to do this is Michelle Rodriguez. She seems that way on tv. She may be as sweet as Aunt Bea for all I know.

  58. Kristen needed a new car - that Mini Cooper is infamous. But I doubt Jodie wanted to seduce Kstew. These two seem to have a maternal - kid relationship. Jodie often goes to Kstew's indie premieres. Aside from the dark hair color, Kstew looks as much like Jodie as she looks like her own mom. (Kstew's natural is said to be more of the medium brown/blond shade.) Fincher's "Panic Room" casting was so spot-on. They look like mom and daughter even today.

  59. Kristen Stewart is the highest paid actress in Hollywood. That makes you A list.

    ReplyDelete
  60. No way is this Jodie. She has far too much class...I'd never believe it. And her mother/daughter relationship in Panic Room w/ Kristen makes it even more unlikely. That said, no real guess.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Jodie has known Kristen since she was a kid & clearly has maternal feelings towards her. Its pretty sick of people here to think that she has sexual intrest in someone she saw grow into a woman :/
