Amber said...: Kids playing hide 'n' seek is one of my favorite things ever. I love when a kid covers his face and thinks you can't see him just because he can't see you. It's an actual developmental stage in child psychology, but I can't remember specifically why. It may be tied into object permanence.; 11:42 AM

Usually, she runs into the pantry (and leaves the door wide open) or the bedroom, but sometimes she'll just stand right there in the room where whomever she's supposed to be hiding from is counting. Wherever she "hides," though, it takes about three seconds to find her, you just have to listen for the excited squealing.; 11:46 AM

As a teenager we used to party at a friend's cottage, no parents. 20-30 of us, stoned, playing hide n seek in complete darkness with Zeppelin blaring. Good times. (it was also a perfect time to randomly make out with God knows who when you 'found' someone); 2:35 PM
