I used to love Silver Spoons! My internet connection is way too slow today to watch video (grrrr, it's storming), but he looks like he has not aged well. Isn't he only in his early 40's? The still looks like he's older than that.

Because of Ricky Schroeder's role on Scrubs as Nurse Paul Flowers, my housemate called a male orderly "Nurse Flowers!" repeatedly when he was doped up to get his shoulder back in its place.
I call BS on this one, at the time Whitney was strictly clitty and not into men so I doubt she would have made out with dude.

Thanks MM - that and the age difference! And I never missed Silver Spoons. Not hating on Ricky, but I am calling him out on lying here. He was like 12-16 on the show or 11-15. What girl 8 years older (even straight ones) would want to make out w/a baby?!? Kinda creepy actually!!
According to Wikipedia, that episode was in 1985, and she would have been 22 to his 15. Maybe they made out in his dreams, or maybe she kissed him on the cheek as she sent him on his puppy-love way... but made out for real? Doubtful.
I was a HUGE Ricker fan...sadly my bff worked with him on a movie up here in 2008 and he was a HUGE DICK.

I remember that episode. I remember she kissed the lawyer dude, or whatever he was, on the show. (Franklin...something? Seales, maybe?) Since he was gay IRL and we know the rumours about her, guess neither one really enjoyed it after all.

Technically there was a 6 year 8 month age difference. In the video there also appears to have been, at least, a 4 inch height difference. Maybe she gave him a pity kiss so he could brag to his friends.

That's impossible. Ricky was born in 1970 and Whitney was born in 1963. When Whitney was 18, Ricky was only 11 or 12 yrs old. That's just gross.

@crilla16 - Not impossible. As others have pointed out, the episode of "SS" she appeared on happened in 1985, when he was 15 and she was 22.
I personally agree with those who stated that she probably gave him a pity kiss or a kiss on the cheek and he's just playing it up now, but this didn't happen when he was 11 or 12.
That's weird. I have a friend who worked with him on a movie annd said he was the nicest guy. He refused star treatment and made everything about knowing who the other actors were. Perhaps it depends on the day.
I thought Rick looked rough in the club house. I watched SS but was always hot for the Dad.
The problem I have with this is I refuse to see Ricky Schroeder as any older than 22.
