I can see the appeal of this kind of relationship for someone who has suffered the abuses she has. It's especially appealing when you grow to genuinely love and support each other and get all of the comfort without the pressures of the physical side. I used to crave the same kind of relationship coming from a background of abuses from a very young age. It took a lot of counselling and time to get into a 'healthy' head space about relationships of having it all.
The only way I'd knock her for this is if she does beard for GMD. The man is a sociopath who supports a dangerous organisation that runs on abusing its followers. I would think that as a former victim she wouldn't want to be party to anything like that now. At least, I would hope.

I too don't think bearding is such a bad gig. Especially for a young up and coming girl, who's been hurt, and is trying to get noticed, needs a little financial help. this is far less disgusting than most hollywood "arrangements". i don't see the problem.
