Kelly Rowland Says There Will Be Destiny's Child Concerts - Probably

Sometime in the future, depending on the ability of Michelle Williams and her hectic schedule, Destiny's Child will get together and perform some shows. Probably. Actually, it might not even be a probably. Kelly Rowland was asked that question this week and said that it is not a no. Yeah, that is like when you ask out a supermodel and she says, "Well, I'm not saying no." If you are not saying yes, then it is a no. Yes, musical reunions are a little more shaky than asking someone out, but Kelly acted like she really wants to get back to being successful on her own like she used to be and if her new album tanks then it would be more likely there would be a reunion. Kelly was nice enough to also mention that Michelle has a new record coming out.

I think it would actually be a smart PR move by Beyoncé if they did a few shows. Would definitely increase her likability IMO.

So you're telling me there's a chance.

I can't stand Beyonce, but I do like Destiny's Child. The Writing's On The Wall is a great album. Sadly, I think if DC were to tour, it would be the Beyonce show instead of letting all 3 have an equal spot.

Reunions are just never quite the same. The magic is gone by then, yanno?

In college a guy I knew always referred to Destiny's Child as "Beyonce and Friends."

DC was always a platform for Beyonce. There is no need for a reunion.

Beyonce has become a fame monster, just like almost every front person for any successful group. they think it's all about them, that they made it happen, that they are the shining star, and that everyone else is just steps to their inevitable rightful place of glory at the top. she's not saying no, but I can't see Beyonce ever giving up that solo spotlight for more than a couple songs. She's Mrs Carter remember?

This group is soooo overrated.

and Lance Bass still thinks N'Sync is going to do a reunion tour one day also.

Yeah I don't see Beyonce sharing that spotlight again, I mean they were barely on stage at the SuperBowl! It was like a blink and you miss them! I would actually love it if Beyonce took a real break, I would love to not hear her name or see her face for a few months.

Totally agree. My wife looks like Kelly, so I'm biased though.
My daughter looks like a mini- Beyonce, so I can't hate on her toooo much. :-)

This will only happen if Beyonce sees her popularity take a fall. Really, these girls should've gotten a clue when the band was named Destiny's Child (singular).

Judging by the whole fifteen comments here I'd reckon most people don't give a hoot.

Wow I thought people would be more excited. Count me as one of the few who's love to see a DC reunion. The NY show on their goodbye tour was actually the first concert I ever went to so I'd go jst for nostalgia. And yes Writings on the Wall is a great album.
