Amartel said...: Country music awards shows - the last refuge of the badly attired. THank GOD! Everyone else is so hair/makeup/clothing-consulted that it's not fun anymore. Like a bunch of Barbies. Might as well turn the red carpet into an assembly line. Roll them right from the hotel to carpet to back door of theater. Also, any event where Dog and Beth might actually breathe the same air as Nicole Kidman is per se funny. (Not sure if she was there or not, but the thought amuses.); 12:54 PM
ablake said...: I think Nicole may be on a press tour for her new Grace Kelly film. All I know is that if I were married to Keith, I wouldn't let him out of my sight. That guy has amazing talent imo. Singing/writing and his guitar playing is really good.

They're really good people on their show, often letting people who've jumped bail go, counseling them, getting them food, etc. I like to see nice caring good people do well. Lisa said...: First LL Cool J was there because he is on Brad Paisley's new cd that is coming out.

Anyone who is a fan of Keith's know he could really care less about fashion when he is able to be himself. He wears what is comfortable. When he is onstage it is usually a pair of jeans, t-shirt or loose button shirt if lucky and whatever shoes he grabs. His big priority is his guitars and that is what the fans care about.

I remember watching him play at the Tin Roof in Nashville before he became famous. That seems so very long ago. Saw him when he was touring with Brooks and Dunn. If you want to talk a testosterone tour, try Brooks and Dunn, Keith Urban, Trace Adkins and Toby Keith! The roster switched up sometimes but there was several shows that they were all there and man it was killer.

I was really shocked to not see Nicole there last night as she has always made it a point to be front row center at these things. I am glad that she didn't though as the light is being shined on him and not on her! He deserves to be recognized and when she shows up the press seems to push him back.; 4:49 PM

For anyone who doesn't know the song that her and Blake won the award for last night. "Over You" was written about Blake's brother that died many years ago.

As for the dress I am not sure about it but I know not long ago she was seriously working out and now hmm. But I do know after the show I called my roadie friends and placed my own bet hahaha.; 4:57 PM

I will say I looked at him at one point in time and was like," I wonder why I dont listen to more new style country?" It wasnt nearly the beating that I thought it would be and I listwn to Mumford and the Avett Brothers amongst others that seem very country influenced; 6:52 PM

This was before she was on a label & her dad had paid to self-publish her first CD with all original music and it was & is still my favorite of hers. I told everyone I knew that she was going to be a huge star. This was about a yr before she went on Nashville Star. Anyway, I bought her CD there & had her autograph it. She was so cute, you could tell she wasn't used to signing autographs & was sort of shy & awkward about it, but she blew me away with her raw talent. Of course, she never thanked or acknowledged my foresight LOL!; 8:20 PM
