will.i.am Steals Another Song

Two months, two separate songs that will.i.am has been accused of stealing. Two months ago he was accused of stealing Scream & Shout from Tulisa. She is going to win that one. Now, in another one he is going to lose, will.i.am is accused of stealing Let's Go from a song called Rebound by Mat Zo and Arty. Mat Zo and Arty encouraged their fans to let will.i.am and Chris Brown, who is featured on the song, to complain on their respective twitter accounts. Chris said he had no idea and he was just asked to come sing and considering how many racist things he was called in the Tweets did not go ballistic. will.i.am has not responded.

And elsewhere in LA, Marilyn Manson makes a living by suing people for writing songs that "too closely resemble" his, even when they really don't, but most people just end up paying him because it's cheaper than fighting it

There's nothing original about will.i.am, not even his plagiarism.

I'm still mad at Will.i.am for that ridiculously horrific song he wrote/sang for Entertainment Tonight. Total wtf

Karma is a bitch. I hope everyone who associates with Chris Brown goes down in flames.

Has anyone heard his new song with Miley? Sounds EXACTLY like two Kesha songs- Die Young and Crazy Kids.

Didn't Fergie steal Big Girls Don't Cry or am I misremembering that?

I just looked up the Tulisa thing and he's saying she's NOT suing him.

Maybe he's just going to give her a big bunch of money?

BEP's, although I did like Bridging the Gap 15 years ago or so, are a bunch of goobers.

They played the two on my radio morning show. They sound EXACTLY alike!

Remember when Chris Brown made "yeah 3x" and claimed to be oblivious that it was Calvin Harris' beat? Calvin Harris didn't sue, because all he wanted was recognition for his work.

Wish he'd been a less stand up guy and sued.

I was just saying to The Husband on a 14-hour road trip to Charleston that I totally should have been a music lawyer because there is so much stealing in pop songs it's unbelievable. This completely comes to light when listening to XM radio for 14 hours straight. And might I add that the Bon Jovi station is the greatest creation ever made.

Enty threw cb a bone about the racist comments, but no one wants to talk about that? Not surprised by some of the comments. Can't wait til every offender gets this type of treatment by commenters. OT: Stopped being a fan when they (BEP)did the song with jt. Loved bridging the gap.

No denial is as good as a confirmation. Shame on you. "Lame I Am", is more like it.

oh, Will I Am, greed isn't your friend.

the song he did for the NBA playoffs is ripped off from Daft Punk's 'Bigger Stronger Faster', including bigger stronger faster as chorus.

Oh I so agree about the
Bon Jovi station. Have it on all the time. Now if they would only do a Stones station. Love Sirius/XM.

"No denial is as good as a confirmation."

And just as frequently, a denial is an outright lie!

Same shit happened when Leona Lewis released "Collide" yet the EXACT beat belonged to DJ Avicii but his song is called "Fade Into Darkness."

sometimes they license things.... i.e avicii and flo rida both buying out "good feeling" to sample. actually, flo rida has been sampling a lot (another example is "cry just a little")

deadmau5 licenses his beats too.

I'd consider Bon Jovi a great Jersey export, but he keeps coming back.

I think these guys get so used to sampling they forget when they're actually stealing.
