This A list all movie actress is telling reporters in her interviews that the failures of her most recent movie are because of her co-stars and director and that she kept trying to get them to change their performances and that she worked so hard to make everything try and work out right and that she worked 20 hours a day to try and make it right. Everyone on the cast and crew hates her for this and it was because she didn't want to be there and complained everyday that everyone tried to get her fired and consider her the reason this last movie like most of her recent movies have been toxic. People hate working with her.

How is she A list? She can't open a movie on her own. Her ONE decent role was in Monster's Ball. She more famous for being a Loony Toon than anything else. Cat Woman or B.A.P.S anyone.

Proof beauty is only skin deep. I always liked her but she after the whole custody thing my feelings have changed. Nahla always looks so happy with her dad and to tear a child from a loving parent is the most selfish thing I can imagine. Glad the court told her to kick rocks and that Paris ain't happening. I don't agree with paps following celebs when children are present but if you don't like the attention, stop taking roles and fade away.
I actually liked this movie.
Sigh - over the years her cray has become more and more evident. I wonder if Nahla will ever write a Mommy Dearest style memoir.

Berry might be a bunch of things, but I doubt she tanked that film. The bad make-up, taking-too-long-to-start, lack of a main protagonist, and being hella smart probably had more to do with that.

The detour around the collapsed bridge on the I-5 didn't get bad til we hit Mt. Vernon, but it only cost us an hour all told. Feel sorry for the locals-driving thru town is gonna suck balls.
I am going to take the Yakima detour back home on Monday. Beautiful route, best ice cream ever in Yakima, and only two extra hours.

I remember seeing trailer for Cloud Atlas the first time and thinking it was going to bomb just based on Halle being in it. I just don't equate her with being the first choice when casting a movie. I would guess that a number of actresses passed on the opportunity before it finally was offered to Halle.

Always heard she had issues. There was a rumor that age stuffed the ballot box to win Homecoming queen . She said racism was involved but for some reason I can see Halle doing that.
The only thing Halle has ever done that was noteworthy was "Introducing Dorothy Dandridge." Her ongoing insistence that every lover she had has abused her is stomach turning. Let Paris have her.
I felt she was so weak in Cloud Atlas, compared with Ben Whishaw, James D'Arcy and Hugo Weaving (I loved him as the nurse...), she just didn't have the acting skills to keep up.
So will she be able to take Nahla to Paris now that she has a child with Olivier, does anyone know?

Ja'mie - Having kids with some other sucker should have absolutely no impact on her custody arrangement with her other baby-daddy. For his sake, I hope she has the new baby & the new baby-daddy doesn't care about baby #1 so much anymore and lets him just have Nahla. Halle seems like the type of doormat that would let that happen.

@ja'mie: The court order says that Nahla cannot be taken out of the country to live so it doesn't matter what happens with the new baby, Nahla has to live in the States. I don't think it really matters though because Halle and Ollie aren't going to last much longer. Rumor is he's already hooking up with a couple of old girlfriends.

I wonder how she will react when things go south with Olivier, if she'll live in denial and let him cheat for awhile or just go full on Left Eye and set his shit on fire.
I thought it was a brilliant film, though I thought the leads were miscast, and I can't imagine ANYONE thought it would be a blockbuster.
Love it... "Full on Left-Eye"! Lisa Lopes certainly left a lasting legacy on the music industry when she died, but perhaps most people's fondest memory of her will always be the time she let a little lovers' quarrel turn into a case of felony arson! Halle's not looking so bad now. Yet.

Yes Halle is very physically gifted. Other than that she is a horrible person. Letting Billy Bob screw her doesn't make her A list.
