This former B list mostly movie actress with the interesting name is now a C lister. All the talent in the world but got caught up in other interests and family and, despite everyone thinking she was going to get an Academy Award, she does not seem all that interested in working. She was spotted with her brother at an event this past week. A dinner. Her hand never left his thigh the entire dinner. She ate with her right hand and her left was on his thigh. Moving. The woman next to her brother had dropped her napkin and noticed and then could not not stop staring the rest of the night.

I don't think Uma ever really was an actress who could open a movie, or even was ever really perceived as an actress who could carry any movie on her own. Seriously. B list sounds about right.

Uma is sure talented but I think she was winding down to the B list by 2008 so she could be C list at the moment. She has family now and her activism and charity work. Also, I don’t remember but maybe people thought she had her Oscar for Pulp Fiction in the bag, but did not expect Dianne Wiest to win instead.

The movie wasn't stupid at all, it was just too advanced. Pls read the above summary, it'll clear it all up for you. The movie was actually very thought provoking.
@a non a miss - but I wouldn't say that Kill Bill did well because of Uma. It did well because it was made by Tarantino and was an action film released at the right time with tons of good marketing. Uma doesn't have the personality or looks to be a big box office draw.
