Kid Rock Compares Justin Bieber To Vanilla Ice

Kid Rock was on Howard Stern yesterday and said he is not a fan of Justin Bieber. He does feel sorry for him though and says it is going to be a long ride down to the bottom. Well, at least Justin will have a lot of money and pot to help ease the pain to the bottom. "Tell me if this is wrong. Justin Bieber … is 100 percent like watching Vanilla Ice all over again. It's exactly the same. Well, as soon as Bieber has a hit, he'll be like Vanilla Ice."

And score one for the man who had sex with Pamela Anderson more than once.

"The kid's young. He's got some money. He's got the world in his hands. It's just kind of sad to see him go down this trajectory. It's gonna be a very long ride down. "

Score another one for Kid who finished off his hammering of Justin by saying, "It's just a matter of time before someone puts a huge line of cocaine in front of Bieber, and he's going to be like, 'Yes! This is f**king awesome!"

I still don't get the appeal of coke. In any case, Kid Rock hit that nail on the head.

I heard the interview - Kid Rock always has a lot of interesting things to say, no matter how you feel about his music.

Well, considering Kid Rock started his career as a Vanilla Ice wannabe, I guess he would know.

I heard Aaron Hernandez was arrested in connection with the murder, but could only find reports online saying his arrest was imminent. Anyone hear anything?

So Brady's healthy receivers are ? Maybe they could bring TO in.

Yup, that about sums it up. Good.

Keep talking Bob. How about that story you told when you first started out. You remember the one, where you grew up dirt poor?
Gee wasn't it embarrassing when the truth came out that you're a trust fund baby?
I'm certainly no Bieber fan but I'm fairly sure he's had a 'hit'.

When is the last time you had one?

I saw something about that on Sports Center last night Count, they were just talking about the crime though so I guess I came in on the end of the report.

Wow...Kid Rock nailed it. Justin is becoming weirder and weirder by the day.

Count -- Are you a Pats fan? Or just morbidly interested in this story? I'll bet Kraft, et al are kicking themselves in the heads for letting Welker go. Hindsight being what it is and all.

Bacon Ranch said...

Here's an update from ABC just a few minutes ago (sorry for the OT but this is more interesting than herpes Rock and doucheboy)

"He [Hernandez] has not been ruled out. We are not calling him a suspect, but he is definitely not in the clear," said one police official close to the investigation.

Did any of you catch The Soup Investigates last night? They had an awesome segment where they showed Beliebers picture of what Justin will look like as he ages.

If The Biebs is not doing blow yet, I will be shocked.

Love love love Kid! Hey, he's "got more money than Matchbox Twenty" and "it's not bragging motherfuckers if you can back it up"! :)

@girl77007: Jets fan. I hypothesized a week ago that the Pats picked up T-Bo to distract from the mess their team is, and received some admonishment. Now I'm just pointing out they got no receivers. Gronk- back surgery, Welker- gone, Hernandez- trying to stay out of jail and fending off a lawsuit, Amendola- good WR but basically Glass Joe. Brandon Lloyd is still a free agent, so I guess they could revisit him.

@BaconRanch: Thanks. What I was reading before made it sound like they were gonna pick him up any moment. That doesn't appear to be the case now. I guess they have to do some forensics on his gun and the bullet dug out of the corpse.

Agree with Bacon Ranch. When's the last time Kid Rock had a hit? Justin just got his first diamond record sales award. Who's on the way down? lol.
No fan of Bieber's either, but it's too easy and so lazy for someone like Kid to take pot shots to get people talking about him again.

Sherry said...

Regardless of how you feel about Kid Rock I think he hit the nail on the head!

I learn so much here. Had not heard about the murder and Aaron Hernandez until you guys made me look it up.

I'm sure Biebs has tried blow. Kid Rock hasn't had a hit in a while, he's tried to go the country route, but I haven't heard any material in a while from him. He also started out as a cross over rap/rock thing. Pot meet kettle. Bieber has a good voice, youth, a huge fan base and looks, ( ok 14 yr old lesbian beaver looks but still), what does Kid Rock have? other than herp.

but I do agree he hit the nail on the head,I just don't think he should throw stones.

Kid Rock is a relatively good guy. He knows who and what he is, has a great work ethic, knows his audience and constantly gives back to the community of Detroit. I wasn't always a fan, but my man is, and Kid Rock totally won me over. His Rock and Roll Jesus album may be a couple years old, but it is fun in the sun, cheesy, fried gold fun!

I like Kid Rock. He handles his fame well (with the exceptions of his scuffles at the Waffle House) and seems to be a pretty decent guy. You never hear any really bad stories about him being a mega douche like Bieber and I really enjoy some of his music.

Bacon Ranch said...

He really should stick with country. His song that riffs 'Sweet home Alabama' is fun to listen to (and crank up). It's a shame the duet he did with Chesney wasn't released for mainstream play.
I agree that he supports Detroit. When the song he wrote about his cousin came out, a local radio station was raising money for charity (pay money to hear a song). He actually called in and pledged thousands of dollars in his cousin's memory if they played his song.
So yeah, he may be a good guy but this interview was a dick move on his part.

car54 said...

I never listened to his music, but I watch Vanilla Ice's show on the DIY network, and he has turned out ok--he's rich and now he's doing a tv show about remodelling and flipping mansions in Florida. He seems pretty happy.

It just cracks me up how much people like hearing/talking about a young kid. Who cares what the Beib's is doing?? SO WEIRD! Well, I guess if I had kids it would be different, so I'll shut up.

I hate myself for finding Kid Rock attractive, but damn it all to hell, I do. I want to hate-fuck him.

Kelly said...

@tempy. It ain't just you hon. Me and @Califblondie find him fuckable too.

Mango said...

Kid Rock might not have had a hit in awhile but I did see him eating mac and cheese with Guy Fieri on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives last year. That's gotta count for something, right?

girl77007 said...

@ Mango: that place they went to on DD&D looked fan-fucking-tastic. I want to eat there too. And although no fan of Kid Rock, I do love how he supports Detroit. All our cities could do with a little dedicated lurve like that.

@ Count: must have missed your observation; generally I am in love with everything you say (forgive the shameless flirting, please).

auntliddy said...

Yrs but he is a douche.

Count Jerkula said...

@girl77007: Thank you. I'm sure you could be more shameless than that, so there really isn't a need to apologize. However, since you didn't say "Please, Sir" I will have to administer a spanking. Choose your weapon and assume the position :)

girl77007 said...

@Count: Oh the board will hate me, for sure. To start, Sir, I'd suggest a bare hand as there is a certain amount of testing, push and pull that needs to be established, no? But of course, I'll defer to you. As for the positioning, please consider it assumed.

Every one of Kid Rock's albums has debuted on Billboard's Top 10, including his Rebel Soul that was released last year. And while I'm happy for Beiber's' Diamond award for the SINGLE, "Baby", talk to me when he has a Diamond award for an album, i.e. 10 million copies sold. Kid Rock actually has one of those.

Kid Rock may not have hit singles in the current mess that is popular music, but he sells albums and fills auditoriums and makes a ton of cash. He's also - and some might be surprised by this - highly respected across the music industry as a top notch musician and performer.

Beibs was a cute boy act, but he's going to have a short career if he keeps playing the thug. The audience for his music is not thug-oriented. Not to mention being hours late for his concerts and acting like a general dick most of the time. On this, I agree with Kid Rock.

Susan said...

I don't think Kid Rock sounded too douchey. He knows the business in and out, so I would take his advice if I were the Biebs.

I would LOVE to see Kid Rock perform. He seems very talented/entertaining, flaws and all.

I find him kinda of dirty hot, too. LOL. But he probably is diseased.

My parents LOVE the Vanilla Ice show on DIY or whatever network it is. Good on him for finding success. Having a hit and maintaining your popularity in entertainment seems hella hard.

Cleodacat said...

I will purchase Kid Rock's next release way before I touch beavers. Totally different demographics.

Kelly said...

@Joanna. I think I heart you. Excellently put.

Count Jerkula said...

@girl77007: Bare hand is fine for a first date. Break out the rattan cane and paddle with "SLUT" carved into it, and there is nothing to progress towards.

"Position assumed"? Just like that, huh? Naughty girl, you were baiting me by disrespecting me like that, weren't you? You really want this spanking, huh?

Well I may be cheap, but I'm not that F'n easy. If you want my hand to rain spanks down on your soft tush, so you can hear the slap and feel the sting, you are going to have to beg for it. I work you, you don't work me. You aren't going to bait me into a spanking, you are going to EARN it.

Could I trouble you for your height and location?

girl77007 said...

You could certainly trouble me (it's no trouble at all, actually -- 5'6", Houston) but, despite evidence to the contrary, exhibitionism not my thing (Darling CDNers, please excuse my wanton behaviour!) and I do hate hijacking a great Kid Rock vs Douchey Bieber thread.

Count Jerkula said...

@girl77007: It's all good, I understand some ladies desire for discretion. You are cool, just too dang far away though :'(

Don't worry about everyone else. The ones hating will have something else to hate on in 10minutes and this lil back and forth will be forgotten.

Well awesome then -- tee this bitch up (the convo -- I try not to refer to myself in the third person all that often!).

@Count -- where are you? I actually travel...

MadamChef said...

Curious that this torrid little affair happens in the Kid Rock post and not the Fiddy Shades of Grey post. Although Kid Rock's a lech, Pammy probably likes a spanking and Bieber is reportedly a fan of going down under, so I guess it fits. All that is now needed is a VIP link to round out the conversation. (Not of Kid Rock's junk I hope!)

girl77007 said...

@MadamChef -- good point! And to think, it all started with Patriots football dish.

Henriette said...

I think that's an insult to Vanilla Ice.

MadLyb said...

Well, as much as I don't want to agree with Kid Rock, I do. And on top of that he has put out a lot better stuff than Vanilla Ice and Bieber combined, though "Ninja Rap" has me a bit torn (the video is so bad it's good and I love it!).

I hope the ride down for the Biebs is like a trip over Niagra Falls. That kid grates.
