Michael Douglas Makes More News - Denies The Oral Sex Causing His Cancer Claim

Michael Douglas made headlines all over the world this past weekend when he claimed that his throat cancer was caused by him performing oral sex on a woman. The interview was with The Guardian. They are not Star or The Enquirer and do not generally make mistakes. Michael Douglas claimed though yesterday that he never said his throat cancer came from performing oral sex and that he just said it is a way of getting throat cancer. His explanation makes no sense and The Guardian is sticking to their story. They have the recordings. What is interesting to me is why he would even bother denying it. Who cares? Did Catherine give him a hard time because she does not have the HPV virus?

I think the divorce announcement comes this year. Maybe around a holiday. CZJ likes a distraction.

CZJ has it and now thinks the world knows.

CZJ doesn't have and believes he cheated.

On the other hand, it could have been from before he and CZJ were together.

Bit dams said...: by age 25, 90% of sexually active people have the HPV virus. you can get cancer from oral sex, and there is no way to test for it. i've discussed this at length with my MD, because my ex is gay, whoring pig. if you have an open sore in you throat, they can test that, but currently nothing like a pap smear for the throat exists.; 8:06 AM

Robin the Mad Photographer said...: @Cee Kay: Why am I not surprised that Jay would be so clueless? *rolls eyes* I'm not assuming anything about CZJ; it's entirely possible that he's been faithful to her, she didn't have it, and it's something he picked up while he was single and that stuck with him. Apparently most people can clear it from their systems within a year or 2, but some can't, and he may just be unlucky in that regard. (I also think his smoking and drinking wouldn't have helped, and probably were contributing factors as well.)

The one thing I'm a little puzzled about is this: all the attention so far has been on men getting it from cunnilingus, but what are the odds on women getting it from fellatio? If the woman doesn't have HPV and the man has it in his throat, how likely is she to get it from giving him a blow job? Also, how at risk would she be if she gets head from him? Ja'mie King said...: Even if it is easier for men to get it from oral, its about 99% that a woman will get it from a man via regular intercourse. Every single person I know (other than my parents--ew) has HPV in some form or another. Every. One.

MD probably got this whoring around years ago and his lifestyle kept it going. I don't see why Diandra or CZJ should have any reason to make a statement, it's not like he was known for being a chaste choirboy even when he WAS married. It could've come from just about anywhere.; 11:52 AM
