Gilles was a great dancer, but if I remember correctly, he lost because Cheryl gave him shit choreography in his final dance. It was all about her and he barely moved his feet to show off his skills, meanwhile Shawn Johnson was dancing and jumping all over the place with Mark (and I hope I have the right finals, but knowing my memory, I've mixed up two different seasons).
