Blind Item #8

This B list mostly movie actor has had some great roles and been in one of the biggest movies of all time. He also says that he would have quit acting if he had to work with this A list mostly movie actress again, who he called the most boring person he has ever met and a complete wasteland of personality.

  2. Orlando Bloom/Kiera Knightley

  3. Bloom is married to a model, I can't imagine Kiera Knightley being more vapid than Miranda Kerr. :b

It's not Ginger McGregor, don't anyone go there. (VIP, linkage welcome LOL)

    Wasteland, is that a clue?

If Bradley Cooper is throwing shade at Jennifer Lawrence, we need to call out the Anchorman crew. She's got more personality in her little finger than Coop has in his hair (and I like him)!

    1. Really going to stretch it here, but there is a movie coming out at the end of the month called "The Rise." Was originally called "Wasteland."

"Wasteland" stars Matthew Lewis who played Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter films, which also stars...(deep breath)

      Hermoine!!!!

For real, this had to be Orlando.

Nasty! So due to being a model, Miranda is assumed to be vapid? Wow. Just wow.

    3. B Smears, it was a JOKE. Knightley is a former model, Kerr is a current model. One of these things is just like the other.

If you really feel the need to be offended by an off-hand joke, there are plenty to be had on the Lindsay post.

    4. MadameC, B Smears is a troll. Its particular style is the putdown and the pompous pronouncement as if the arbiter of ALL is deigning to share the infinite wisdom only IT has been gifted with. Kind of like Anna Wintour without the taste, wit or charm. What? Oh.

I am calling B Smears out on its near total lack of contribution to this blog. You can TRY to reason with it or explain the actual (usually obvios and wellstated) point being made, but I would personally prefer wasting my time trying to conduct a sumphony made up of an annoying bunch of flies. You would accomplish more working that line.

  4. Don Cheadle, Gwenyth Paltrow.

  5. Mark Ruffalo? Avengers. He has been the romantic lead in movies with most of a generation of leading ladies just hitting 40.

    1. I like this guess! They just did a movie together about sex addicts.

    1. I like this guess, but I think kstew would be all-movie. Not mostly movie

  7. Ooops, Snow White and the Huntsman

  8. Jack Black, Angelina Jolie.

  9. If it wasn't for the mostly movie for the B lister, I'd go with Don Cheadle and Goop.

Ruffalo and Kirsten Dunst? I have a mad crush on her, so not only do I not want it to be her, but I don't think she's A list now (or ever).

I know VIP is acclaimed as usually right around here, but wouldn't Orlando have been in more than ONE of the biggest movies of all time with Pirates and LOTR? Not only multiple movies, but multiple franchises.

@Madam - Why not young Obi Wan? Seems like Black Swan would work here. Or maybe Liam Neeson?

Newsies Bale and Anne Hathaway? Or is he A?

    1. @oldbaldy77, Natalie Portman is super-smart, I doubt she's the boring one. I just said Ewan McGregor to get VIP to post some NSFW link love. :b Only 4 hours left until my 4 day weekend begins. :D

  10. I'm thinking Scarlett J for the actress. Are any Avengers not returning for the sequel?

  12. Eric Bana/Rachel McAdams? Big movie for Bana being Troy, I guess. . .

  13. I don't think the bore was actually in the "one of the biggest movies of all time"...the blind doesn't directly state that, just that the actor who doesn't want to work with the bore was in a big movie. Assuming that's correct, I'm going with Jessica Biehl as she is a known bore. Don't know who the actor is, though.

  14. What about Kidman/McGregor?

McGregor is B-list ish, I'd say. He's had some awesome roles (Trainspotting, Black Hawk Down) and I'd consider Star Wars huge movies.

Kidman just seems terrible and as a funny Scotsman, I feel like he'd be annoyed by her.

  15. Nicole Kidman - though she might be interesting if she talked about Tommy Girl. Pick any B-lister she ever worked with.

  16. captain america and scar jo

    ReplyDelete
  17. What about Tom Hddleston/ScarJo? He did a UK TV series a while back plus he was in those BBC Shakespeare movies. And didn't Joss Whedon just say Loki wouldn't be in Avengers 2?

    ReplyDelete
  18. I second G Paltrow and D Cheadle.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Kidman for the actress. She's so self absorbed I imagine she's as boring as hell. I know Sean Penn refuses to ever work with her again

    ReplyDelete
  20. Viggo, and Karl(my man) Urban worked with Liv on LOTR too. But, there was also Kate Blanchet the Bitchin Fairy Queen on those movies. "People will love me and DESPAIRRRRRRR! *tosses the ring aside* Oh, never mind, I'm goin on vacay!"

  21. @Stephen Simpson: Not that I know but I've heard that Angelina has a wicked sense of humor and a pretty big potty mouth. Not for nothing but that's my kinda gal!

  22. My Aunt lives in E Hyde Park in Chitown and they used her house (she's mad rich) when they shot PROOF and she said Paltrow was a snob and weird, never spoke to anyone who wasn't in the cast as opposed to Hopkins who was nice. She near accused her of being a racist (my Aunt thinks all White people are without proof, but given her history I excuse her on that). I don't think it's her in this BI especially since Cheadle is not "B." And he has his own series so he'd be movie and TV.

  23. @Faith that would be a good guess but they are widely believed to have had a onset fling. so I don't know how boring he found her (McGregor/Kidman).

I do feel that she could be uptight and tense though, on set. Seems very Type A to me.

  24. No, Miranda Kerr is as vapid as they come

    ReplyDelete
  25. This may be Giovanni Ribisi talking about Angelina Jolie. I thought this blind was discussed before unless this is a new set of people with similar circumstance. He was in Avatar and a bunch of others and said this after he worked with her on Sky Captain.

  26. Billy Zane about Kate Winslet
    (Titanic)

  27. @scneefloeckli Kate Winslet? No way. She's far from boring. She has a very bubbly, bold personality.

  28. Vince Vaughn and Do you know who am?
    Witherspoon.
