Norwegian Woman Who was Raped And Sentenced To Jail Has Been Pardoned - Fired From Job By Janet Jackson's Husband

First things first. I am so grateful that the Norwegian woman sentenced to 16 months in jail for being raped by her co-worker in Dubai has been pardoned. Hopefully the country will do the right thing and pardon the other women sentenced to jail for being raped.

Now, the next thing is that Janet Jackson needs to divorce her husband. She needs to show the women of the world that she does not want to be married to a misogynistic a-hole no matter how wealthy he is. The Norwegian woman was raped by a co-worker. She worked for the husband of Janet Jackson. he fired her when she was raped. She lost her job and was sentenced to jail because she was raped. So, if Janet Jackson was raped, she would blame herself? If her niece was raped, would she want Paris sentenced to jail? That is exactly what Janet is saying by staying married to her husband. If Janet Jackson ever says she cares about women's right she needs to be shouted down and heckled until she stops speaking.

Please Janet's not going anywhere there's just too much money in play.
I hope this woman sues the pants off Janet's husband.

Janet Jackson would gut the women and dance in her entrails to hold onto her money mark.

I second Misch's statement, Janet's not going to leave a Kajillionaire, or whatever he is. I am so glad this stories getting some traction. Rape needs to be punishable under the strictest laws. If someone steals in those kinds of countries isn't it punishable by losing a hand? What about if you rape someone you lose your dick?

Unknown said...

wow enty, a little bully sentiment there.

yes i agree, she should sue or something.

Bizarre story.

Doubt Janet cares she has more money than god now.

trudi said...

I can only imagine the Jackson family secrets she has kept under wraps for the last several decades, even when other innocents were involved. Why would her marriage be any different?

Sarah said...

He didn't lose his dick, the rapist got sentenced to three FEWER months than they sentenced the victim.
When they pardoned her, they pardoned him. Yeah. Really.

Connie said...

Since the woman's rapist was a coworker, I'm guessing he gets to keep his job?

surfer said...

When has Janet ever been known to speak up in defense of anyone or anything? Exactly.

I heard on the news that it's a Muslim or Islamist thing - there are certain (ridiculously difficult to meet) criteria a woman needs to be able to prove she was raped, or else she is automatically assumed to have been unfaithful to her husband and just using rape as an excuse.

Janet's not going anywhere imo. No money grubbing Jackson family member is going to kick a brand new billionaire husband to the curb.

Sarah said...

The 24 year old woman was also given jail time for consuming alcohol without permission and for cheating on her husband. I'm assuming the alcoholic permissions needed to come from her husband, who was in their eyes the only victim when she was raped.
God forbid that he should have to have sex with that loose woman after a man forced himself on her. That's the real travesty, sloppy seconds.

The laws in some of those countries are sickening and they need to be changed. They're based on 10,000-year-old religious doctrine and the countries continue to be ruled by men and laws are for the benefit of men.

That being said, before we throw Janet's beautiful surgically-enhanced sugar-daddy under the bus, let's remember he was raised in one of these societies and he too has to obey the laws. In his world, there are men with more money and more power. Maybe he too is horrified, but he's not going to do any good behind bars. Also, when Enty says "she worked for him", this doesn't mean she was his personal maid or fluffer. She was probably one of 100,000 people working for a company which also may have been following the law, however stupid it is.

In America we have this "all or nothing" mentality - Instead of condemning an entire country and people, we need to help work to change their laws. And sometimes we just need to understand that some people just don't want to change.

Was she fired for drinking on a business trip? I mean, if she was straight-up fired for being raped, that would suck. But this story is ... there are things that I wonder about in this.

I highly doubt anything about this story is gonna keep Miss Jackson up at night. Her platinum and diamond studded earplugs help drown out any noise I'm sure.

Tyler said...

@Barton, for being raped, or according to Middle East Islamist culture, because she engaged in immoral conduct since she couldn't produce a number of male eyewitnesses to state that she was raped.

Barton Fink said...

Her separation papers said that? Then you're right.

Tyler said...

That's what I heard on the news, and that's exactly what they said too about a woman needing several male eyewitnesses to the rape to verify that she's telling the truth or else it didn't happen. It's crazy.

sarah.estell said...

Why would this bother Janet in the least? She's a Jackson through and through. Think of the secrets she kept about Michael and his little boy fetish? She kidnapped her own mother for God's sake! Why would you expect Janet to suddenly have a moral compass and the need to speak out against injustice?

Basil said...

Janet ain't going no where. If anyone can ignore an elephant in the room, it is a Jackson.

Postscript 2:

I have now received an official statement from Al Mana’s company. See below.

(July 20, 2013) – “We are sympathetic to Marte Dalelv during this very difficult situation. Al Mana Interiors has repeatedly offered Marte support and company representatives were by her side throughout the initial investigation and police interviews, and spent days at both the police station and the prosecutor’s office to help win her release.

“Company representatives have been supportive and in communication with Marte throughout her ordeal. Only when Ms. Dalelv declined to have positive and constructive discussions about her employment status, and ceased communication with her employer, was the company forced to end our relationship with her. The decision had nothing to do with the rape allegation, and unfortunately neither Ms. Dalelv nor her attorneys have chosen to contact the company to discuss her employment status.

“We continue to be open to helping Ms. Dalelv and extending her resources during the Dubai legal process. We are hopeful that we can resume a positive discussion about the assistance she needs during this difficult time.”

Topper Madison said...

Ease up a bit. Her name ain't Baby. It's Janet--Miss Jackson if you're nasty.

Squeezebox said...

From CNN:

A representative of Al Mana Interiors, who declined to be publicly identified, said Saturday that Dalelv and the Sudanese man she accused -- who is married with three children -- were both terminated by Al Mana Interiors for "drinking alcohol at a staff conference that resulted in trouble with the police."

What foreigners in Dubai fail to remember is that, although they *usually* can live their standard Western lifestyle without repercussion, at any time the authorities may decide to crack down and make an example of them.

Visitors have to remember that this is an Islamic nation and they are subject to its laws, and behave accordingly.
This unfortunate woman must not have realized that, and thus didn't realize that reporting her rape to the authorities would get her treated as a criminal.

I had the opportunity to work in the Middle East years ago and passed on it despite the big bucks for this very reason. I didn't want to be subject to their archaic, unjust laws and culture. And yes, it IS archaic and unjust, especially with regards to its treatment of women and children.

Unknown said...

If the rapist was convicted for rape how can the woman be at all culpable.

Newflash Dubai, the Middle Ages are so several centuries ago. How about all the men in Dubai who hire prostitutes every day. Your jails should be full then. Add all the other Arab Countries. Let's see some Royal Princes get stoned to death.

Besides, it isn't truly Islam it's cultural. The Koran does not specify any of this stuff for adultery not even stoning or death. Men make up this crap. Of course they do.

Unknown said...

Good for you Squeezebox I'd be terrified to work there after all these stories.

Middle Ages never ended.

Count Jerkula said...

The men don't hire prostitutes in country, they take on additional wives. Then they can divorce them by saying something like "I divorce you" 3 times with witnesses.

I believe this is what someone said while discussing Lilo or K-Trash humping for $$ over there.

Sandy said...

Not trying to be rude here, but... where the hell did this woman think she WAS? Dubai/UAE is NOT Norway. It is a country which treats women as chattel - little more than property with no rights whatsoever.

Did she think her Norwegian nationality would protect her? Please. It always amazes me when people are dumbfounded when the countries they visit are not exactly like their native countries. Newsflash: most Middle Eastern countries are repressive, oppressive and women are treated like property, slaves and/or whores. There's no middle ground there, and no way out unless you're able (as this woman was) to get your entire native country to intervene (and sometimes that doesn't work).

As for Jackson: she walked into that marriage with open eyes. Actually, it's probably not much different than living under her father's regime, so she'll be used to it. And she wants that money.

Anonymous said...

her brother raped lil boys and they all turned a blind eye
DO YOU REALLY think her morale compass that deep?

Count Jerkula said...

How Jackson family is scum, they should all be euthanized. It is worth the 1 or 2 nice ones who may succumb to get rid of the rest. Collateral damage, nothing more.

Pip said...

Sandy, she was thinking she was going on a business trip. She didn't go to Dubai, planning on getting raped.

A majority of the Jacksons, Janet included, are pieces of shit. They don't give two fucks about others. That family just disgusts me. I really hope someone can give those poor kids a semblance of normalcy, but it is doubtful.

Hmm, an employee gets raped & suddenly it's dump on Janet time. Did Norway threaten to sever business ties with the country? What are their allies doing? How about the hypocrisy because Janet Jackson is involved, because if it was Jennifer Lawrence, there would be so much sympathy. Personally, I think Paris manipulated the situation & won, good luck to ppl who want to adopt her when she truly acts out. Janet is between a rock & a hard place. SN: working in a foreign country is tough enough, imagine dealing with customs & laws different than what you're used to, my heart goes out to the woman.

@ Sandy, my thoughts exactly on some of the topics. Though am sick of the Janet hate.

She was raped by a Sudanese (muslim), probably she is single (she is condemned for fucking outside marriage, single ones are eligible too). Let's read the quran:

"The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication,- flog each of them with a hundred stripes: Let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by Allah, if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness their punishment."
Qur'an, Sura 24 (An-Nur), ayat 2

Yes, the Bible has parts alike, but no Christian place has something as the sharia (quran is the law, something like the constitution).
Religion of peace.

If I remember correctly, in Dubai alcohol is illegal but probably easy to get for Westerners on the down-low. I can see why her company fired her if their reason was hey, you went to Dubai and went drinking which was totally illegal and makes us look bad!

The rest of it is total bullshit but you know what you're going into when you go there (not excusing the rapist or anything but as a woman I wouldn't expect the authorities to help me out either - especially if I had been drinking during the assault).

I know blaming the victim is supposed to be a taboo thing in this day and age, but really, it's leading people to do stupid things because they think the world is supposed to be fair and just and that bad things happen randomly and not as a result of their own decisions and lack of forethought and awareness.

Don't go to the middle east if you're a woman and you want to be legally equal to a man. Hell, just stick to North America and Western Europe, really. Don't go to Islamic countries and drink. Don't chew gum in Singapore. Yeah, it sucks for her, but Dubai ain't Oslo and she should have realized that before she even got on the plane. Cost-benefit analysis and survival skills, people.

And no, shaming these countries won't work. They think we're the insane barbaric ones.

H888FUL said...

Pip, you might want to read his comment again. He said that those countries are not like Western ones. Pretending that they're safe and it's just like home is asinine. No, of course nobody deserves to get raped but a lot of times the victim's bad decisions led to a bad situation. You don't like the laws of a country, stay the hell out of that country. Yes, bad things CAN happen to you! I know it's astonishing and hopefully you aren't one of those retards who say stupid shit like "A woman should be able to walk down the street naked in a bad neighborhood and not be raped". Sure, it's a nice idea but it's never going to be reality and that mindset is what gets people into bad situations because they think they SHOULD be able to do whatever they want.

Whoever said that we should work to change these laws in other countries is insane. IT IS NONE OF OUR BUSINESS. Let those turd holes stay the way they are. We've already tried to "bring democracy" to the ME and we STILL have assholes advocating meddling in their business? You first, asshole. Join the military and bring them some democracy or shut the fuck up. If those people want change, let them fight for it. We had to.

H888FUL said...

Forgot to say that Janet's husband looks inbred. People want to talk about white hilbillies inbreeding, well they've got nothing on the Muslims! Most of the ones in the UK are deformed from close relatives marrying, and it's probably worse in their own countries. But of course it's not PC to talk bad about anyone but whites, so I don't expect to hear about how inbreeding makes THEM stupid.

Naoruth said...

I'm not for one second saying I agree with the archaic laws in Muslim countries but do any on you realise what the bible's stance on rape is before you start taking the moral high ground?

I could see why a person might not realize how draconian the UAE's laws can be. The place is modern, and tourism and international trade are what keep the place going. UAE works hard to distance themselves from places like Afghanistan, or at least they give that appearance to foreigners. If the world figured out how crap their laws are, it could be catastrophic on UAE's economy.

Pip:
No, drinking doesn't mean you are allowed to be raped, but drinking in an Islamic country where consumption of alcohol (a substance banned by law there) is looked upon much in the same way as doing lines of coke off the backside of an underage hooker is in ours is a remarkably bad idea, especially for a female infidel. Combine that with the fact that they operate under sharia law with reduced legal rights for women, especially non-Islamic foreign women, and you have a less than salutary situation in which one should not venture unless they are sure they know what they are getting into and what precautions they must take. Such as not drinking alcohol and being on guard with men.

Is it fair and just? Absolutely not. But it is what it is, and being outraged does not alter the reality of the situation. Short of bombing them into submission (and becoming that which we hate, authoritarian imperialist bastards), there is nothing that can be done except make it known what the situation is there.

888: Aren't you that white nationalist? You do know I'm not white, right? You also do know that you're not helping the cause of common sense. Most people are inclined to check the sky to see if it's changed color if a white nationalist tells them it's blue.

Rach:
So, disagreeing with you should be punishable by rape? What a pleasant nice person you are, I can see why some around here take issue with you. Being that I *was* raped by a family friend when I was younger, I must say it's really not something you should wish on ideological enemies who do not wish you any physical harm. In fact my personal experiences with it are what colors my present beliefs on the subject. (To wit, never trust someone who will give an underaged boy a drink for one). I am not a victim or survivor. None of that emotionally indulgent bullshit for me. I even personally forgave the asshole who did it to me when he called out of the blue years later asking for forgiveness. I believe in logical dispassionate analysis of everything. Several of my own choices were responsible for my unfortunate outcome. Did I deserve to be raped so hard that I could not pass a stool for 10 days without holding back tears? No, no one ever does. In a perfect world, no one ever should, but, alas, this is not a perfect world. In this imperfect world it behooves us to do our best to protect ourselves with practical education and risk assessment, not useless theory and hand-holding. Does it mean nothing bad will ever happen? No, risk always exists. Perhaps maybe some bikers will jump me and rape me by surprise, but the chances of that are much much lower than getting drunk alone with a shady individual.
