He thinks he will get fired if he tells her since she is also his boss. His wife knows about the crush and loves her new husband having a job so pretends to be the dutiful friend whenever the actress is around. The actress is nuts over this guy.

@Reno, the blind makes it sound like the marriage is recent: "new husband." It does sound far-fetched--but if the guy isn't famous yet and he and his wife didn't tell anybody, it could remain a secret for a while.
I hope that it isn't Mindy. I adore her and want to be best friends. If it IS her, though, I'd probably go with the guy who plays her boyfriend, Anderson Holm. He has no IMDB bio.

seriously people. don't throw mindy, or any other woman intelligent enough to be the boss in hollywood, a very sexist city, under the bus.
@annabella, it sounds like the guy and his wife are deliberately hiding the fact that they're married from her so that he can stay on the show. I don't think that this reflects poorly on Mindy--IF it's her--it shows what jerks the other two are for taking advantage of a crush that she has.
Also, if the marriage is truly recent, it wouldn't be in his personnel file. I missed the deadline to update benefits after I got married this year, so my file will still say that I'm single until I re-enroll next year.
Anders Holm is married to his college girlfriend. It's in his Wikipedia entry. They married 2 years ago so I don't think that counts as "new."
@Yara, good catch. It doesn't seem like it would be anyone else from the show. Maybe Ed Weeks, the British guy? Chris Messina is in a relationship and has two kids with his girlfriend.
Anyway, I can't think of anyone else.

I also think the guy isn't an actor since those are usually pretty easy to track down via Wiki or IMDB. Crew member sounds about right for this.
