This A list mostly movie actress with A+ name recognition has no idea what happened to her dog. She used the dog for publicity purposes and to make her look like she was sympathetic and then let some friends take care of it and they gave it to someone else and now the actress has no idea. A reporter wanted to do a story and the actress has been scrambling trying to find the "dog she loves."

I'm a big animal adopter / rescuer... I'm sure someone in her circle found a safe, happy, consistent home for the little one. Lots of good people who would provide for a dog that needs it.
@ethorne. For Real lol. I just hated it. I remember I lend my friend like 5 dvds and Never got them back. She have the nerve to say she gave them to be back. Im like When.. I dont lend her movies anymore unless she gave me something back to hold.
Dragon that was in high school & the only thing I've loaned out since was my favorite stripper pink nail polish. Shocker: I never got my damn polish back either! :(

I couldn't let anyone take care of my dog for me. When he was neutered, I had to sit at the vets with him. I go to the store and he just barks and whines at the end of the driveway until I get back.

I'm like that too! I'm ashamed to say that I avoid going on trips sometimes because I don't want anybody else taking care of them. If I go upstairs, they sit at the bottom of the stairs and whine til I come back down. I'm embarrassed to admit this. :/

Oh come on. Don't make me dislike Jessica. I wanted to believe she was different. Using a dog for publicity is so manipulative. Or maybe it was just a stunt dog and they took it once the Oscars were over. At least I'd like to hope it's in good hands now.
This just makes me hate her. I've only seen her in The Tree of Life and she's pretty meh.

It reads like her friends gave the pup away to someone. The didn't just toss it in a dumpster.
Not surprised. Apparently her 'sweet as pie' personality is an act. She rubs me the wrong way. I find her so uppity. She carries an attitude that says she's better than everyone. I'm almost glad she missed out on a Tony nomination...homegirl did like one low-key play prior to movies and she acts like she's a revered theatre actress. Her speech at the Golden Globes was equally nauseating...she practically said she should've been noticed for her work a long time ago and was visibly relieved that people finally recognized how amazingly brilliant she is.
Here's a tip: watch for the ones who try to get everyone to like them. The ones who go out of their way to make themselves look clean as a whistle are usually the ones who have something to hide.
On another note, Enty has some weird classifications going on. A+ name recognition? I don't quite think everyone knows who she is just yet. Meanwhile Kate Winslet is considered B+ list...seriously?
That sucks. I hope the poor little doggie is in a good home now with people who love it and don't think of it as a PR prop. What's she going to do next Oscar season? Carry around an orphan from Africa for a couple of weeks then lose track of it too.
I'm not at all surprised by this. I know somebody who worked with her on a film and, in fact, helped to take care of the dog. She didn't give two bits about the poor thing. She's a big phony. Also, a shitty tipper (as in, she doesn't tip at all). Wherever Chaplin ended up, he's better off.
As I type this, my sweet dog is sleeping on my lap. I don't understand why people think animals are disposable.
