This A list celebrity has been married for quite some time. Does he enjoy being married? You would not enjoy being married to the woman he is married to, but he sucks it up for the sake of the kids and because he just is not a confrontational guy. Back in the day he would confront and she would scream and yell and tell him that he was nothing like her ex who she still talks about ALL the time. Of course when she was with her ex she was talking about the ex before that. Our celebrity solves most of the issues by maintaining separate residences. They have enough of them to make it happen and even in the same city which makes it nice when dealing with the kids. He also has had a series of girlfriends. He started off with a foreign born A list celebrity in her own country who had a brief fling with A list dom here in the States. Now, she is more of a name of a one hit wonder. When the wife found out about her, he made a very sneaky move. He went and purposely started an affair with a B list mostly movie actress. He even got busted by the media and there was hell to pay at home, but it also took the pressure off his foreign born lover who he continues to see. She is free to see other guys, but rarely does and instead moves from house to house of the celebrity. No one has ever seemed to find it strange that the two are always in the same city.

For the one-hit wonder - Leona Lewis? She was supposed to be the biggest thing since wonder bread, but became a one-hit wonder quickly.

How is any of this good for the kids?
While it's easy to forgive the guy for cheating on someone as horrible and obnoxious as the Goop, I have to wonder why he doesn't just divorce her. No one would blame him. The situation wouldn't change, he could still live near the kids in various houses they own, but the kids wouldn't have to eventually find out from some site on the internet that their father was cheating on their mother.
Why stay for the kids if you're not actually STAYING with the kids??
If Chris leaves Goop, then it will be harder for him to shield the kids from her crazy.

GOOP is about pretense - all flash, no substance -- he stays because somehow she has convinced him to... money, kids, whatever -- thus far, it's easier to maintain like this for the charade then walk away
I remember several years ago her making some lame excuse about why they never make appearances together. I don't recall the fact that he can't stand her coming up in the inteview.
