Lindsay Lohan "Boyfriend" Got Zac Efron Hooked On Coke

I'm not a fan of outpatient rehab. Unless you are in a facility I think it's too easy to quit and to just give up on the program. Sure, you can walk away from an inpatient place too but the action of packing your suitcase and making arrangements and then leaving a place is a lot different than just not showing up to an outpatient place one day. If your trainer is knocking on your door everyday it's tougher to find an excuse for not working out then if you don't stop by the gym.

According to TMZ, Zac Efron has actually been through rehab twice this year but neither time was inpatient. The first time he did go to a private home for a few days but he has not been in a facility for 30 days working on his issues and I think he is destined to fail. I hope he doesn't and that he is one of the few that can just go to a few days of rehab and then never use again but his relapse after his first rehab was much worse than what he was doing before.

TMZ hints that Zac got caught up in the wrong crowd but they don't expand. Let me go ahead and expand for you. I like you to feel like you got some juice which can be hard to do when TMZ is worried about making Kris Jenner happy and not about good gossip. The person that got Zac hooked on coke is one of Lindsay Lohan's special friends. The guy introduced Zac to a life of private jets and hookers and coke. Makes sense that Lindsay would love this guy. Lindsay still hangs out with the guy. If you're thinking it's the guy who got arrested for drugs you're wrong. It's someone else and she still hangs out with him. Probably just because of the jet and hooker thing and not for the coke.

So Lindsay's special friend is bi?

Henriette said...

Does this mean Zac is straight? I'm shocked.

I do hope he'll be okay. My daughter grew up loving HSM and I'm fond of the guy.

Why do you hate TMZ?

You seem to be shading your competition quite frequently now.

Is Lainey writing this blog?

Another site blames it on Marilyn Manson

Henriette said...

Marilyn Manson is a hot mess.

Marilyn Manson and Zac are friends? WTF?

Does Zac hang out with Johnny Depp, too?

Tmz sucks. Now I want to know which guy it was.

Henriette said...

If you want to know what happens when you hang out with Dipp, just go look at River Phoenix.

TMZ also said Zac had unspecified 'girl problems', but said they had nothing to do with Vanessa Hudgens.

Addiction is a bear and it is highly resistant to treatment. Hope he's OK now.

I don't think Manson and Lindsay hang out much if at all, so it has to be someone else.

That said, blaming someone else for getting Zac hooked is ridiculous. Dealers supply people with what they ask for - and charge for it.

Lastly, taking cheap shots at other gossip sites when they don't do it to you just shows that you're willing to stoop lower than them, so pot meet kettle.

By a bad crowd I guess you mean everyone in the Business...because it seems to me the Entertainment Industry is full of coke dealers, and users of every degree. (as per every other blind item on this site)

Anyone else think this is a ploy by his team to make vanilla Efron more interesting?

He's pretty, but dull....

Pip said...

Eh, he's dull, but I believe the story. He seems to keep his personal life from the public eye. It doesn't surprise me this happened months ago, but just now is coming out.

His name is Mohammed Al Turki and he's a multimillionaire arab. Entry is suggesting Lindsay is using him for his money.

Vera, that's exactly what I've been thinking. Killing two birds with one stone even. Make Zac look more grownup and also to dispel the gay rumors. A while back he did that idiotic "oops I dropped my condom" stunt on a red carpet. This might be more of the same.

Harry Knuckles said...

Jodi and Sage, you know not of what you speak. TMZ, or more accurately, Harvey Levin, the big bossman over there, is corrupt.

__-__=__ said...

People quit drugs, alcohol every day without paying for rehab. The idea rehab makes you quit is short sighted. Good profession to be in though. No shortage of addicts.

angie said...

@Harry, the new Enty is no prize in the ethics or morality departments either, despite all the judgmental sneering down his nose posturing.

Unknown said...

I've got a bone to pick with Enty, and not just because it's what the cool kids are doing these days! :)
He makes a lot of assumptions about addiction that are just wrong. I did intensive outpatient rehab and have stayed sober for almost three years. In my experience, it was those in inpatient that had trouble adjusting back into their regular lives once treatment was over. Unfortunately, many relapsed. Outpatient treatment allowed me to observe what were real life triggers for me and being able to bring those thoughts into group sessions to process. To each his own, but I am offended ent so quickly dismisses outpatient as a half-assed attempt at sobriety. Irrelevant-to-post rant: over! Thanks :)

Harry Knuckles said...

Sage, I agree about the new Enty(s) lack of ethics, but that is a seperate issue. It's TMZ that were talking about, and the show runner over there is on the take. You post suggested that you didn't know that.

I read somewhere else that Zac was erratic cranky and out of it at TIFF. Considering the festival ended last week, I'm with Enty. My guess is he is still using.

plokzy said...

How can gossip sites be ' corrupt'? Displaying favoritism, ok, but corrupt seems kinda exaggerated.

plokzy said...

@Steph great point! Thanks for the insight.

THAN. Not "then". Seriously, who the fuck is writing for this site?

Tyler said...

@plokzy, Enty is just jealous that Harvey doesn't have to turn his website into a Gypsy carnival sideshow of popups, flashing ads, blaring music, and nasty trojans to make a living at this.

There was a blind the other day about Manson and Dita having a threesome with Lindsay.

Again...no one can get anyone hooked on anything without the person's permission. He's hooked on Coke, because it was a choice he made. Lindsey didn't tie him down and force coke up his nose.

I'll go to rehab with him

Enty has his own issues and we all know that, but TMZ is shady as shit because Pimp Mama Kris has Harvey in her back pocket. She pays them off a ridiculous amount of money to spin every single stupid thingstrode K cunts do. They slam almost everyone except the Kardashians, and there's a reason. It's not just favoritism, it's pure pay off and nothing less.

Sarah said...

Simmer down CubsFan! I know what I read.I'm not an idiot thank you very much!

Harry Knuckles said...

Jolene. I agree with you yet at the same time it confuses the hell out of me. Time Warner must see what is going on with the favoritism shown by TMZ to the KTurds. TW is a huge media company that needs to protect it's corporate entegrity. It just stuns me that they allow it.

The only person responsible for Zac Efron's addiction is Zac Efron. No one forced him to do anything and blaming someone else for his actions is typical addict behavior; if he is actually blaming someone else. I don't think he has commented on the story at all since it broke.

Everyone is different, every addict is as well. My grandmother was a drunk and heavy smoker but quit cold turkey when she was told she would die if she took another drink. She had cirrhosis and emphysema from it and was a real hardcore addict but never touched either until the day she died 20+ years later. I was hooked on opiates and when I decided to stop, I did. I'd had enough of dope sickness so I quit. It's been 4+ years now and I have taken pain pills as prescribed, etc and never had a problem. No NA or any of that either...sitting around talking about using with a bunch of other addicts would drive me to drugs! Point being, it's possible to stop and you don't have to be an "addict" forever if you don't want to be. So good luck, Zac! Don't let it hold you down and don't buy the hype...if it works for you keep on working it but if not that's cool too.

Have u ever been to TMZ.com? Ads play before the 1st story u click on & randomly when u click around on diff articles. U can't access comments with iPhone app & android app hasn't been able to gain access in about a week. Not saying this site is without probs, but view it on mobile & no ads. Editing comments can be a pain but at least they are visable

Unknown said...

I assume they see the K's as popular among the masses & so it's acceptable for every mundane thing to be *breaking news* worthy & spun pro K, since the clicks are worth it. It's mind boggling that people care about them but they have some rabid fans. Once that fades it will be interesting to see if TMZ turns on them.

Ditto! One day at a time.

As a ex opiate addict, cosign that you can quit drugs without inpatient rehab. Or, any. Zac Ephron hooked Zac Ephron on drugs. Blaming others is the thing druggies do, and this is just reinforcing that idea. Blargh.

Harvey Levin is Satan, plz.

I've worked in both outpatient (clients come in for their methadone, bupe or suboxone) as well as support group settings and in-patient Tx facilities. Each person is different just as each experience if addiction, and consequently recovery, are individual and varied.
