Lindsay Lohan Lies About Venice
When Lindsay got the lone positive review about The Canyons from Variety, did you hear her say she wasn't going? Nope. Lindsay was "humbled." It was only after every other negative review and the total bombing of the movie did she decide she wanted no part of it. But, even though it was a disaster, she still would have gone if they met her demands that she placed on the after she had agreed to go.
Now, Lindsay is telling the world she never confirmed to go and that her sobriety is the most important thing and that she would never have gone because her sobriety is most important to her. Uh huh. So, if the movie had made $100M and this was the first chance she would get to bask in the warm glow of praise, then she would also have stayed home? Not a chance.

It may be a bunch of bull, but I think even Oprah said the film festival was a bad idea that even Enty at the time agreed with.
Your moral outrage over this would be a lot more interesting to me had you not been similarly morally outraged over her plans to go to Venice, which you were furious about because it would end her rehab and get her back using again.

Poor girl must not be able to turn tricks w/o numbing herself to the horrors of being an Arabian Toilet or a European Cum Dumpster with drugs and alcohol. Therefore an extended stay in Venice would not be a profitable endeavor. Her original thoughts were probably to use it as an excuse to be in Europe for a block of fall bookings that would carry her, her pimp and her sister through to Christmas.
The girl needs therapy. Once she embraces her inner whore, and can gargle jizz without the aid of cocaine, she will be able to provide her tricks with a better experience and probably increase her bookings through better reviews.
I have no insider contacts to get the idea off the ground, but an escort review board targeted to extreme high rollers seems like it would be a good venture. Market it to the guys who find their escorts in fashion magazines and red carpets. $ 1000/ month to keep the riff raff out and the world wide 1% can make the decision between Amber Smith and Tara Reid much more easily, not having to rely on trial and error.
