Barbara Sinatra Calls Mia Farrow A Liar
Barbara is not an idiot and knows her husband Frank Sinatra cheated right up until his death. What she hates is the thought Frank cheated with Mia Farrow. This week Vanity Fair released a portion of an interview they did with Mia Farrow and in that portion she says Ronan Farrow is probably Frank Sinatra's son. If you look at the kid there is no Woody in him and Nancy Sinatra told vanity Fair that Ronan is a special person in the family. Why would he be unless he was related? Barbara said it was all lies and that Frank would never sleep with that rhymes with bore.
Ronan was born in 1987. Frank and Mia split in the late 60's.

Well if Mia got pregnant in 1986, she was 41 and Sinatra was 71. Since Dylan is born in December of 1987, then Mia was probably 42 and Sinatra going on 72.

But Woody Allen is really smart. Sinatra wasn't and Mia isn't. So how did Ronan emerge as a near-genius even at an early age? Me, I think he's Woody's son.

Mia said (in the same interview, I believe) that they "never really broke up." I get that. I remember reading way back when the Soon Yi scandal broke that Mia and Frank were "still very good friends" and Frank offered to have some wiseguys do whatever she wanted to Woody.

Nose, brows, and chin are pretty same identical. But I vote for the Maury Show, Celebrity edition. I wanna know why His is yapping her trap. What happened that she has emerged from relative quiet and peace to cause such an uproar? Is she crazy, vindictive, angry, or getting a very nice paycheck? This is so typical of Barbara, she knows that the Sinatra kids are good with this, so she has to take the opposite view. He cheated on her before and well after they were married. She has some idea that the legacy of her marriage to Sinatra must remain a happily ever after story. Sinatra's kids have their reasons for hating this woman.
Barbara watched over Frank like a stalker.....if he gave someone something (a gold lighter, a gold pen etc) Barbara would try to take it back....
The thought that Frank might have fathered a child while married to her would crack her carefully crafted image...

Funny coming from an ex-Las Vegas "showgirl" who managed to hop from anonymity to one famous, fabulously wealthy actor husband to another without losing a step.
Sinatra's kids have all been very frank about him in the past (saying a Xanax a day could've really helped him), they're the ultimate authority on subjects related to him in my eyes. Not some showgirl who hopped on for a free ride at the very end of his life.

Yes, Barbara was Mrs. Zeppo Marx (The Marx brother who was a multi-millionaire from shrewd investments) before Sinatra, he divorced her, and she was another Hollywood executive's wife before that. There's a bit of a pattern.
I, personally, loved Ronan's quote on this. IDK, for sure- maybe one day he will take a DNA test (or maybe he already has?) but he looks like Mia as much as he does Frank.
Regardless of genetics, this guy has a great head on his shoulders and rose above that Woody garbage which is something.

@MISCH I have gold lighter from Sinatra! My Grandma gave it to me. It was given to her Dad from Sinatra for furnishing limos for him. (My Great Grandpa opened one, if not the first, limo manufacturing plants in America.)
My Grandma was in love with Frank, so she got to meet him and Frank gave her Dad the lighter for his cigars. Before he died,m he gave it to my Grandma who gave it to me when I began listening to Sinatra on my own, surprising the hell out of her lol

I'm not good at finding similarities in people's appearance but, to my mind, Ronan doesn't look dissimilar to his maternal grandfather, the director John Farrow.
Isn't sperm from elderly men almost DOA? That's why I doubt this story. I've heard of men in their 70s and 80s fathering kids, but it's pretty rare.

Didn't Barbara talk Frank into adopting her son? Frank's kids hate Barbara and Mia is just loopy enough to diss two birds with one stone. She'll always hate Woody and who could blame her. Wasn't Ronan named Satchel at birth because that was Wooody's idea? IDK if he's Frank's kid, but this was the juiciest story I've heard in a while.
I believe Ronan (birth name Satchel) is Woody's child. Ronan was born in December 1987. He would have been conceived around March 1987. In March of that year, Woody's film Hannah And Her sisters was nominated for several Academy Awards. The two were Filming Radio Days around this time. If you go back and look at photos from late 60's - early 70's Woody, there are certain similarities. I'd thought of trying to figure it out by height but seeing as how Woody is 5'6 and Frank was only 5'7, I guess that's not a great indicator.
There was even speculation this week that Ronan could be the son of Michael Caine, who co-starred with Mia In Hannah, but seeing as how Michael was in the Bahamas filming Jaws IV in early 1987, I guess that rules him out then.
Jason B.E., you do make some excellent points. However, this conception COULD have been some kind of one-night MF/Sinatra hook-up, even if she and Woody were together. I guess if Ronan's happy with whatever his mother has told him, which he seems to be, that's what's important. He's such a stellar young man! No matter what, Mia can be proud of him.

Califblondy, I thought it was a pretty juicy one, too, no matter who the father may actually be. I'd always heard that Mia and Frank were just good, good friends after their divorce. Hmm.
(I was reading about the whole family on Wikipedia earlier. Barbara DID try to get Frank adopt her ADULT son, and the Sinatra kids said no effin' way because they wanted to protect their money [and I can't blame them]. That's all pretty loony to me.)
Pics of young Mia and an older Sinatra are a perfect combination of this young man. He obviously doesn't care (or he knows for certain) who is birth father is. Regardless, he seems to be doing well for himself. No matter how you slice those genes, there's huge potential for trouble.
If there was even a remote possibility of Ronan being anyone's son other then Woody's it would have come out ages ago. This is just a way to stir the pot. He's an Allen by biology. That doesn't mean he has to have him in his life.

I cringe every time I see pictures of Woody today with his teen daughters. There is some messed up body language if you look.
Maybe Mia had an agreement with Frank that this not come out until the wife passes? Maybe since the kids all are close with him (franks children) that's enough? Who knows
But Mia must have had some dad issues- frank and her own father look quite similar.
I won't further comment on woody- but I will say I trust in the words Ryan speaks. Any time she has referenced this its clear she has suffered trauma.
It's not so much that Ronan looks like that photo of Frank -- he just REALLY looks like Frank in that photo! Young Frank, circa 1940's, into 1950's. The eyes are just about the same. Frank was more exaggerated featurewise, which is tempered with Mia's features in Ronan. If they're not related, someone needs to send him directly to Ripley's Believe it or Not!
I think a pic of Woody and Mia should be included here. Maybe throw in some Nancy Sinatra before plastic surgery. Ronan looks mostly like Mia, and granted, on first glance people would probably agree that he was Frank's, but after further analysis, I think he is Woody's. Yes, my life has come to this.
Nancy Sinatra said Ronan is part of the family. That's all anyone needs to know.

Yeah you are meant to be nice to a guy that dated you, shagged your daughter, you believe molested another daughter or at the very least had therapy for he's behaviour with her and alienated your son. Not to mention then married your daughter and he's childrens sister - because that wouldn't mess the kids up.
