This wife of a former child actor who had his own show and grew up to be an almost A list mostly television actor at one point had her breasts enlarged as a surprise for her husband. He got home from a trip and she showed them off and he made her have them removed. He called her a very ugly name too. My sister went to an Mary Kay party and came home all made up. Her husband said she looked like a cheap wh*re. He could have said he liked her better with her "natural" appearance, or he could have even said she looked nice, but no.....

Do what you want with your own body, but don't pretend your decisions have no impact on your spouse. He might be just an asshole, or he might have been hurt and angry that she hadn't given his feelings any consideration first and so he lashed out. That's a lot of money to spend, but more importantly there are risks to having any surgery, and although the choice was ultimately hers I think he deserved the chance to give an opinion. I would be pissed if my husband had penile implant surgery and "surprised" me with it.
Amen, meg. My husband would not appreciate a new set on me, not because he's an asshole but because it sends a message to our daughter that big boobs are of value. Decisions like that have implications, and it is not assholish to want a discussion first.
