This offspring of a still barely A list singer/celebrity has been borrowing huge sums of money and has a big gambling tab that he owes to the mob. He says his daughter will pay like she has before. So far though she hasn't bailed him out this fourth time.

So the still A list singer/celeb has an adult granddaughter. You'd think that would narrow it down for me.
I'm going to assume the A list singer is the mother, offspring is a son and "daughter" is the usual Entyism.
How about Streisands son as the gambler? Ooooh, or even more juicy, Cher and Chaz or Elijah? Though Cher is foralways A+++++.
Except Basil, Streisand and Cher aren't grandmothers.
And if the "daughter" has money, she likely isn't a kid herself.
The Cassidy's? Shirley (Oscar winner), David and his daughter? I got nuthin'....
The writing of this blind supports my theory that English is a second language for one Enty.

Makes a whole lot more sense if "daughter" is a typo and they mean "mother". Then only looking for barely A list singer/celebrity and her gambling son.

But which way did Enty make the mistake? Either "offspring" or "daughter" could be the mistake, so it could be either a mother or a daughter.

I don't have a guess but I'm not sure why so many are having difficulty with the scenario. The still barely A list singer's grand daughter has been payingh her dad's debts but not this time. The singer could be 70ish and the grand daughter late 20's or 30's....at least it's not marked easy easy.

Doesn't this have to be someone Tony Bennett's age? I don't know, anything, anymore. I do like the Shirley, David, Katie Cassidy guess, since 2/3 are assholes.

Enty needs to start writing blinds with each person involved being assigned a number or letter. Such as "A-list Oscar winner (A) had an affair with troubled starlet (B) and his C-list wife (C) found out." That way pronouns like "he" and "her" don't mess up the reader.
There is no way David Cassidy is making less money than Katie Cassidy. He's a staple on the casino circuit, and they pay extremely well. All he'd have to do is perform a few free concerts to pay off any debts.
It reads like the father isn't famous.
This stuff must be getting outsourced. This reads like it was written by someone for whom English is a second... or third, language.
After the third time bailing him out, shouldn't the bailer have gotten the bailee some help?
