This Academy Award winner/nominee actress who is A list and does mostly movies is on a trial separation from her long time love. Well, that is what he says anyway. He says that she has been cheating on him and that she calls it exploring and that it is good for them. Not that he has not been doing some exploring on his own with that home decorator he met a few months ago.

So was this supposed to have been happening before, during or after her mastectomies/reconstruction? Why is he called "long time love" and not acknowledge that he's an actor as well? I call BS.
She was having surgeries then, and they have an open relationship so how is this possible? Its not.

OT but I saw gravity last night and it did not live up to the hype. You could tell the only reason they made this movie was for one little golden man.
I love how everyone "KNOWS" that they were in an open relationship. I didn't know that Brad and Angie had so many close friends that they confide in!
This wasn't when she had the surgeries...this was around the time she announced that she had the surgeries. The surgeries were a few months earlier. Maybe even six months. I don't think she said anything until after she had had reconstruction done.

Not surprised, they are rarely together...but do unite for the strategic photo op, personally I doubt he was there for her surgery...
I think it's over...but neither will actually end it the "brand" is so important to them.

This was probably right before the surgeries were announced pretty much right when she was in the midst of recovery.It's laughable that the same sources who were completely in the dark about that would actually be considered reliable about the state of their relationship.
@joella it was def a cool space movie, visuals were phenomenal but you could see sandy giving the performance of her life and it all felt too contrived. But that is just my opinion, however I do insist that you see itin 3d imax. The high prices are worth it one million times over.

Anyone else remember the blind reveal saying the one Angie really wanted was Colin Farrell but it didn't work out so she settled for Brad Pitt?
@Christine, "knows" isn't the right word but many have assumed they're either in an open relationship or only together because of all their kids (splitting up would be messy). They are rarely seen together like someone else commented. And it makes sense. On-set hookups/relationships don't end up lasting for many actors because afterward they both move on to other movies and have to try to make it work with busy shooting schedules and not seeing each other much isn't good for any relationship. Pitt was in a bad marriage when he and Angie made Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Jolie was his escape from everyday life. But once that ended she was pregnant and that kind of relationship didn't end up equaling lasting love. It's not hard to see why.

I'm with you guys. I don't get the time line on this. Unless they were separated when she found out she needed the surgeries and then figured they couldn't announce anything then. Maybe they're still apart and just feel like they need to wait a year to save Brad's rep. If people thought he left her right after all that he'd be the ultra-cad.
I also think she sees women still (anyone recall those pics of her and a very tousled-looking and flushed Gwen Stefani?) From experience, boyfriends are okay with it or even happy at first, but eventually start to see it as cheating. Which I suppose it is. Perhaps they're polyamorous (sp?) which, from my understanding, means that each person actually gets emotionally as well as physically involved with others in addition to the primary relationship.
Anybody else watch that Poly-amorous reality show on Showtime? It was very contrived, but interesting.

Angelina had her surgeries from January through April and Brad was by her side all those months. This stupid blind is dated March 27, which is before the surgeries were announced. After that, Angelina spent several weeks at Brad's side while he did promo for WWZ. They have only been apart in the past couple of months because Angelina agreed to direct "Unbroken" and had to be in Australia while Brad is doing his movie in England. Even so, Brad has twice flown across the world to be with Angelina and his children.

The date this blind was written or the information was heard might have nothing to do with when the cheating happened. I've kind of long suspected that the NOTW story about them seeing a divorce lawyer to organize a split was true. Those guys were tapping people's phones after all, including that of the godmother of one of the kids. That person is now suing NewsCorp.
I also found it very interesting that they sued for "misuse of private information" and NOT libel.
Angelina always struck me as the type that would get bored very easily, even if her man is Brad Pitt and even if they had a somewhat open relationship.
II don't believe the open relationship stuff ever works for long, something is going to trigger jealousy sooner or later or someone else is going to look like a better deal.
Hope she knows children are not as expendable or interchangeable.

@unknown . . . why would they see a freaking DIVORCE lawyer when they aren't even married? Plus, the divorce lawyers mentioned in that NOTW lie totally denied they even knew Jolie and Pitt. And, if they did see a divorce lawyer, why would that lawyer be in BRITAIN. They are both U.S. citizens.

The lawyer was in LA, it's the same guy Tiger Wood's ex-wife used. He can say what he wants to the press, it's not like he was under oath.
What I can believe is that they were publishing illegally pilfered information. Mostly because they got caught red-handed and some of their staff arrested for it. They paid a huge settlement for having done so.
All the women in her family dies young. I suspect that getting all the guys in is more an issue of beat the clock and less an issue of morality. The definition of fatalistic is that nothing matters.
