Miley Cyrus Has Trouble Fitting Her Head Through A Door

If you ever thought Miley Cyrus had an ego you were wrong. She has about fifty egos all piled in her head at once. She has such a big ego that she has to live in her garage because it is the only door big enough for her head. She is interviewed in Cosmo this month and she literally talks about herself as if the world would come crashing down if not for her.

“Everything is so chaotic and crazy right now… I’m literally what everyone is talking about.” No, you are not but you probably think it is what everyone is talking about and even if we were you don't actually say it aloud because now people will just hate you more and will be looking to take you down.

She then said the Video Music Awards would have sucked without her there. MTV probably loves her slamming them but because they are butt kissing sycophants will drop to their knees in a second to have her back as quickly as possible and would probably concoct some kind of other fake award show just to have her come back on.

If Miley talks like this in an interview just imagine what it is like trying to talk to her big head in person.

"Heed. Move. Now." For more large head references go watch a few minutes of So I Married An Axe Murderer.

So I Married An Axe Murderer - great movie!

Well, she's right to an extent. She was what people were talking about, more so than the government shutdown.

Don't worry- With her next album release, she'll go through what Lady Gaga is going through right now: publicity stunts no one gives a flying fig about and nowherr near as much media coverage.

She talks about being on top and an underdog. She's annoying.

I was chatting with an older elementary school teacher pal and asked if his students were into "twerking" and he had no idea what it was; I said "you know, like Miley Cyrus and the MTV thing" --- and I got crickets.

@Freya -agreed. No fun to be Lady Gaga right now.

The interview was likely done right after the MVAs so yeah...really she was all anyone was talking about.

Let's try again, without taking it out of context:

So much has changed since your last Cosmo cover! Is this the most insane year of your life so far? "Everything is so chaotic and crazy right now and it’s so much all at once, but I’m living for it. I'm just having the best time ever and everything’s falling into place like it’s supposed to. Even people who want to hate on me, they can’t even shut down the fact that I’m literally what everyone is talking about. I don’t want to say that I’m on top right now – I feel like I’m kind of an underdog in a cool way. It’s almost punk rock to like me because it’s not the right thing to do. Like, society wants to shut me down."

Actual article here.

Im not a fan of this girls, per se. But she is 20 years old and right now has the number one album in the country. So yea..she will talk out of her ass a bit.. So what?!

@ Lucas Thank you!

Miley does seem a bit more callow, more convinced of her own "greatness" than many twenty-year-olds. But given the hothouse atmosphere in which she's grown up (being a Disney "princess" and having already made a butt-load of money to boot) that probably isn't too surprising. I suspect that if most people had spent their formative years having their backside kissed by numerous sycophants, constantly assuring them of how great they are, they'd probably turn out the same way or worse.

@Nutty_Flavor Lady Gaga is reaching new levels of desperation.

Thank you! I get so tired of the easy pile on hate for her. I know because I worked with her, and genuinely like her, I'm biased, but she truly loved Hemsworth, talked about marrying him, moving to a farm in Tenn and raising kids. He cheated and used her and her whole family, and yet, she's the ho? Nope, just a 20 yr old who has been famous all her life, and isn't like your daughter, or niece, or neighbor. She wouldn't have a clue how to, either. Funny thing is, the vast majority of posters here are just the type that would love her if they were ever around her...

Her family, early monster stardom, money, fame and genuine talent have combined to make a huge ego, but isnt that what it takes to make it nowadays? Huge confidence, overly sexual, etc? I dont like her but shes probably not going away anytime soon. Look at goddamn broke down disgust ing prostitution whoreah lindsay valtrex lohan???? These are the dumbass famewhore paparazzi years. We're still not free of that walking sore paris hilton. At least miley can sing. Fer cryin out loud.

yvettie said...

Everyone can hate but she's running all the way to the bank with a smile on her face.

yvettie said...

While everyone is still broke at home talking about her

I think she is just acting out against her parents because they didn't let her drive when she was 13.

I get Rolling Stone and she was on the cover with the main article a few weeks ago. She sounded slightly cocky to me, but it appears she craves approval from higher up's and their compliments are giving her the big head. I was shocked to see in the new issue in the comments section everybody praised the article and said she was so normal!

Lucas : how dare you place this I context and back it up with surrounding facts? What's wrong with you, man?
(PS : love your work)

I actually do think she's very talented, but am sad that no adult in her family, or around her are guiding her. She's pretty young.

Kels said...

No. She is not. That is not how all of us talk. Chill.

She is who people are talking about (including this site, EVERY day). She has had a crazy year. The MTV awards needed something to shake them up. They used to be fun. She has open letters from singers splashed across every gossip site in the world, with hundreds of comments every day.
And, she's a 20 year old who has just broken up with her cheating fiance and is going a bit wild.
I think she is spot on with what she says.
I don't know her songs at all, but I like her.

timebob said...

She grew up watching her father be a one hit wonder. She will do anything to not fall in that category.

I don't blame her fame whoring ways. Still annoys the fuck out of me and she brigs there is no such thing as bad publicity to a whole 'nother level.

God, I love that movie. I don't have it on DVD -- quelle horreur! -- so I've put it on my Christmas list. That, and JOE VERSUS THE VOLCANO. I decided that I NEED them.

Lisa said...

Billy Ray is actually not a "one hit wonder" but has scored a total of 8 top 10's.

One of his songs "Some Gave All" is played and been adopted by many Vietnam Biker Clubs.

Alright, I'm not that old, but I remember the Ramones of the 80s ,etc, in a romantic nostalgic sort of way. Miley saying that her or liking her is punk rock is just wrong

Rhody said...

I go back and forth on Miley. I find her VMA persona with the tongue and the look-at-me thing so freaking desperate it's hard to tolerate her. On the other hand, the girl has a voice and is smart. I hope she pulls it together and has a career like Pink, where you can be a little on the edge but it's your talent that people see most.

I lived right around the corner from the house where that scene was shot. I went out for a burrito and suddenly the whole street was blocked off and full of star vans and a lighting crane. Inner Sunset, '93, yep.

For we make them...then we destroy them.

I was in the movie when they shot the scene in little Italy SF. Got in trouble for parking in the wrong place.

Thanks for the context Lucas. I don't think she's bragging so much as saying the truth. And I don't think her performance at the MTV awards was any more controversial than Madonna's was some years ago.
She's being guided by another hand to stay out there and be this years Taylor Swift.

I love that wrecking ball song and the video. She didnt need oversex her image to hype up her record but the extra attention didnt hurt her record sales. Thats for sure.
