TalksTooMuch said...: I have the Lou Reed book, haven't read it yet, read Slash, Motley Crue, Eric Clapton and the Axl Rose books, Slash was the best of the bunch. All the others were sort of like ''I took a bunch of drugs and advantage of everyone I could and screwed every stripper I could until I became famous and then I wanted to be liked for mySELF''. Unknown said...: I really liked Anthony Keidis' autobiography. It was a compelling look into drug addiction, imo. His relationships and love, in general, are fucked up because he clearly still doesn't understand real love versus attraction. He readily admits being a selfish person, but he did take a couple of underhanded swipes at two ex-girlfriends publishing topless photos of two of them, by writing too personal information about Ione Sky. I don't think he was fair to her in two instances and that definitely dulled some of his shine. The crazy greedy girl... the topless photo was revenge, imo. Just like Ione.

Anthony's mother is a freaking saint, and his father doesn't deserve a relationship with his son. Apparently, they teamed up together and were shopping a tv show based on their life together when Anthony was a young teenager, and daddy was a drug dealer to the stars.; 1:03 PM

Angie said...: I love Anthony! I met him last year in New Orleans when he was in concert...best day EVER. He was just chilling by a gate, outside of a club. He was very polite to myself and group of friends. But he definitely didn't want to be swarmed by people, so he jumped on his bike, with his very young female companion and rode off into the nite. Oh and I called him by a wrong last name when I saw him.; 1:10 PM

I had a FOF who was guitar tech for Stone Gossard for years. My friend got us flight attendants rooms at a hotel in the BVI as a thank you I got her into a PJ concert. She called to tell me that Scully met them, gave them all access and sat them on a sofa - on the side of stage left where they watched the show from there.
