This B+ list mostly movie actress/Academy Award winner/nominee was talking about the first time she made out with this A list mostly movie actor who was A+ list at the time. She said he had no idea what to do and treated it like he was acting. Kissing was as far as the couple ever went despite dating for months. She said that she tried to undress him and showed up naked once in his trailer but he told her to get dressed because he had a meeting and then sat in his trailer for hours until he thought she had left.

The blind says "mostly movie" actor. Maybe I'm mistaken but I thought Tom was ALL movies.
Also said they dated for months. I think Tom and Pen dated for years..

I think Penny only went out with Cruise for less than a year. Wow that one was definitely against type. She's actually shorter than him isn't she? I'm on board with GMD and Penny.

Definitely Tom. I love that story of how Elizabeth Shue got mad at him during Cocktail because of his poor love scenes. She threatened to rape him if he didn't act more passionate!
There are rumors floating around that Josh is the father and made some deal with cruise/cos and they paid him off to stay away. He apparently has lots of money but hasn't worked in a while.

There are people out there who consider themselves asexual. How TommyGrrl ever ascended to SexGod status is a question for the ages. Poor guy...
He is, however, IMHO an alien. Just not the friendly kind... more like a Reptilian.
I have to say - I grew up with the generation that had Cruise as the main actor and have seen Cruise's movies when they came out from Risky Business and beyond.
i would like to declare i was never, NEVER in lust with this guy or even found him attractive/sexy. I always considered him a good actor with movies that didn't involve a love interest.
I honestly believe i have a very good sense of who is available to women, and who is not interested in the least.
Cruise is the latter. He could be gay (that's what my spidey-sense indicates) or he could be asexual...maybe a combo of both. but attracted to women? He is not.
If Tom's gay, then I think he truly believe's he's not. The COS has some twisted way they get people to believe they're not gay.
I think he's asexual /repressed homosexual. I watched Eyes Wide Shut recently and noticed how weak his sexual interest comes off compared to Nicole. When a director like Stanley Kubrick (who Tom clearly wanted to impress See: all of his other scenes) commands you to show lust and passion (with your real life wife no less!)and that's all you can muster, something is off. Nicole, on the other hand, is easily aroused... by looking at herself in the mirror.
Up until their contract was up, Cruise would bring Cruz onto whatever show he was working on and introduce her to everyone, from the producers to the craft service people. Very deliberate and thorough, as if he wanted everyone to verify that she was his "woman."

Interesting, Sandy. I'd heard that's how things went with Nicole, as well, but you know how that goes...just thinking about when he and Cruz did Vanilla Sky, I had no one to talk CoS and Tommy Girl with, he was still considered that cool dude, beautiful wife, kids, nothing off, at all. I'd try to bring out as many insider-y things I could from insider peeps, no one believed any of it...
