Blind Items Revealed

May 5, 2008

#2 - Our B list film actress who happens to be married to a real winner was on a recent modeling shoot. Our actress loves crack and had arranged to meet a friend of a friend while she was in this city not her own who was going to supply her with everything she needed. He did show up, and she bought enough rocks to get her through the day. Unfortunately she didn't have a crack pipe because she didn't want to carry it on the plane. Her dealer didn't have one either. To say she was upset was an understatement. She sent her dealer and her assistant out to get one. They came back a short while later with one they had got from a homeless person for $100. Our actress didn't even bother to say thanks. Just spent the next hour in kind of a haze, the photo shoot be damned.

She was such a sad person.

Anyone who thought her death had nothing to do with drugs and mental issues is sadly mistaken.

So sad.

Yeah, we get it, Brittany Murphy was a drugged out mess of a person.

i can do a crack pipe with a Pepsi can

She was such a tortured soul ... it was weird how one of her final movies predicted the way in which she would die (in that she was in her shower).

As much as her lifestyle was to blame for her death, I believe her home (which was also Britney Spears' for a short time) had something wrong with it - the authorities said 'toxic mould' and it definitely sold for a LOT less than it's value ...

:-(

And we need to run a dead woman through the mud because why?

Pip said...

Wtf French Girl?!

This has already been revealed.

If you really are that desperate to get high, u would find a way...I mean damn room service or craft device didn't have spoons, straws or lighters???

Pip said...

@ Forever, I believe her death resulted from being ill for a good amount of time (possibly from mold), and self medicating. Her husband lived in that house and had a very similar death I believe.

Hollywood Reporter wrote a great portrait of Britany Murphy when she's dead

Love her RIP

You knew this?
You didn't tell?

Neat, she's dead now and you are trying to take credit for knowing she had a problem 5 years ago.

Yay. You.

This was revealed earlier this year I believe... there were 3 or 4 Brittany Murphy reveals in a row. I feel uncomfortable with this reveal and I'm incredibly sad for her :-(

Agree with those who find these blinds that drag the deceased through the mud distasteful. At least The Enties didn't make up a nasty story about her shooting porn like he did someone else this week, so I guess that's his/her/it's idea of showing some respect.

Repeated Reveal! The new entYs are being lazy

Interesting talent, FrenchGirl

@ Pip - yes, he did (well "acute pneumonia and severe anemia" to be exact - exactly like Brittany). And the house sat on the market for a very long time before being sold (I'm pretty sure it eventually sold under a foreclosure agreement). I haven't heard of drugs causing pneumonia before, so am convinced there was something strange in that house. It even looks like a sad house!

The reveals are the only part that really makes blinds worthwhile. Everybody plays the guessing game, and everybody wants to know - as long as it's someone you all hate. If it's someone whose lifestyle finally killed them, or if they're in bad mental shape, then all of a sudden nobody wants to know. I believe the word you're looking for here is hypocrite. Brittany Murphy was no less a mess in life just because she's dead now.

I think FrenchGirl's point is that it may be necessary to take this blind with a grain of salt. Using a soda can to smoke anything in a pinch is an idea that's been around for decades. You flip it on it's side, use your thumb to make an indentation on the side of it at the end opposite the sip opening, then use a finger held push tack to make puncture holes in the indentation. Inhale through the drink opening. I think this idea got it's start to smoke hash back in the 60's.

Speak for yourself Cee Kay. The world isn't black and white. I don't like seeing the dead disrespected regardless unless it concerns revealing the horrors an absolute monster like Hitler is responsible for.

Pip said...

@ Forever, drugs didn't cause the illness. She had a heart condition. With the pneumonia, and the prescription and non prescription meds taken, it pushed it over the edge.

LottaColada said...

@Frenchgirl - not a Coke can?

NaughtyNurse said...

She was smoking crack. Smoking anything makes your lungs more susceptible to respiratory diseases like pneumonia. She smoked crack. Her heart was shot from drug abuse. Drugs killed her, even if pneumonia was on the death certificate, because she didn't overdose.

*lovesky* said...

I read this blog daily and rarely comment, but when did Brittney Murphy become a saint? Why is everyone so up in arms about this reveal. She clearly had a huge drug problem which exacerbated a heart problem, in turn causing an untimely death. She was an adult and should have known better. Geez people. We are not discussing Mother Theresa.

Tyler said...

@*lovesky*, it's not about sainthood. It's about having a fundamental sense of decency and respect for some things under certain circumstances, which apparently some people have while others don't.

What if one of your mother's old boyfriends from before she married showed up at her wake to dish the dirt to everyone about what a hot f*ck she was back in the day. Would that please you? Didn't think so. Same difference.

Krissie said...

I never believed the "toxic mood" theory, because her mother continued to live in that house for months after she claimed there was mold in it. Why would you do that? Unless you can't afford to move, which I doubt have been the case in this situation.

Anyways, I always heard Brittany Murphy was one of the few nice people in Hollywood and I think it's sad she died.

Krissie said...

"Toxic mold"…not "mood"…my cat stepped on the keyboard while I was typing.

Seattle_Strips said...

I pity Murphy greatly, however, the disgusting part of this blind is that so many people were enabling her! I hope it eats at them, I doubt it does, but it should.

I've seen too many loved ones go down the path of addiction, and I just don't play that. It's hard to stick to my guns sometimes (addicts are incredibly manipulative and will play on your sympathy) but heaven forbid I had to live with that on my conscience.

Count Jerkula said...

She was so hot, but such a broken toy that even if she hooked up with a human it wouldn't have made a difference. Sad.

L said...

@azure - dying does not make people saints. as my father used to say: respect people when they are alive, because once they are dead, it;s too late.
Since we are on a gossip blog, i guess we all enjoy disrespecting people while they are alive and i find, like lovesky, that it's a bit hypocritical to turn them into saints when they die.
this being said, i am really sad for Brittany. She always striked me as a sweet, damaged and fragile person. may she rest in peace

hunter said...

You people can be sooo goddamn sensitive. At least we have the Count.

I'm so glad you've joined us this year Count, really bring a spark of something foul and unnecessary that was missing from our comment section. ;)

After being initially annoyed, I now enjoy your submissions.

Sherry said...

I knew Brittany has a lot of problems. Didn't know smoking crack was one of them.

Meanie Rhysie said...

Better to be too sensitive than to be an asshole.

Exactly.

Truth. And like Krissie said below, by all accounts B was a sweet girl who was kind to her fans and coworkers. There's just a difference between being sick and being an asshole. (Granted, some in H'wood are both, but I digress.)

Why drag the deceased through the mud? Gossiping about someone who can't even defend themselves is low. :/

I agree with @Cee Kay

Thanks Hunter.

I have a hard time believing a crackhead would have such a difficult time getting a pipe. All the crackheads I knew would stop at 7-11 on their way to Trenton and either get a hot dog, so they could make a pipe out of the foil, or one of those roses in glass, so they could break the ends off and use the tube.

Always liked her but she reminds me of a lot of women in todays world: very low self esteem and unfortunately weak minded. Too many women dont love themselves and fall victim to pop culture social programming. Very very sad.

Enty likes to mess with the remains of the dead. Easier to not be sued.

Anonymous said...

@Naughtynurse: I'm guessing in addition to the drug abuse, the E. D didn't do much for her pulmonary coronary health either.

stigs84 said...

She coulda just got tin foil and a straw...

Tippie Hippie said...

Gosh that is a sad thing..

di butler said...

Gotta go w Cee Kay here. If this was Bieber, would y'all be so sad and charitable? Chris Brown? Sheen? Mad Mel? I don't think so.

di butler said...

And yes, I had a friend who had worked w Murphy several times and said she was a very gentle and sweet girl. However, the dead don't feel the barbs, they are past that. Think about the ones you fire at the living.

Unknown said...

They just announced today that Brittney and her husband were both poisoned to death. Not killed by mold. Her mom "I think the house killed them", is the prime suspect.

I don't like the tasteless posthumous blind items about her bc she came across as a sweet girl f@cked up by drugs and handlers. But maybe that's why Enty kept repeating ones about BM? Bc he knew more info was coming out?
