As I prepare for my first annual bacon taste off, I ate some duck bacon for the first time. It isn't pork but is a thousand times better than turkey bacon.

It makes a lot of sense that duck bacon would be good. Duck's have a lot of fat, like pigs. Like it or not, what makes bacon delicious is all that theoretically deadly lard.
I tried Duck ala Orange (however you spell it)once. Once. Gah it was horrific and gamey.

Good lord, you ladies are killing me! Duck is divine. Actually, farm raised duck is divine. Wild can be a crap shoot. Definitely say no to the orange sauce. Brine it for a few days, and then roast it.
Make confit from the legs. Then you can make the world's greatest PB&J sammich. Use almond butter, jalepeno jelly, and duck confit on toasted bread. I would murder Amanda Bynes' hoo-hah to get at one of those.
