Bawahahaha love the photo!

Anonymous said...

Do they usually do this intro? I like it - the voiceover guy and music are fun - they have an '80s vibe :-)

Anonymous said...

I thought John Stamos was the only one who use that line "I've been a teen idol" ... (Rob Lowe just said it).

Juliette Lewis is so tanned! She's cool.

Laura said...

Why the elevator music?

M. Brown said...

I forgot they do this I'm an actor thing. It's painful.

ninotchka said...

Score with the photo.

Rob Lowe and that Juliette Scieno girl to open? Really?

Betty K said...

Hey brother!!! Love tony hale

ninotchka said...

Michael Kenneth Williams is fucking awesome.

The Veep guy! Funny.

Oh dear, Prom girl. Oh she's Sweeting now for everything. Dumb.

Steve Coogan is the sickest most sexually twisted mofo anyone would ever not want to meet. But funny.

The Real Dragon said...

Ain't nobly got time for this intro

keeshlo said...

Ugh Cuba Gooding Jr

Laura said...

I agree %100 about Michael niño!

ninotchka said...

Cuba Gooding - eww.

It's Sweet Ass Matt!

Oooh... Best Supporting Actress - do it! Fingers crossed for Lupita.

Steampunk Jazz said...

I'll repeat since the new site opened, if you want a list of nominees/categories go to:www.sagawards.com

Anonymous said...

I'm pleased that Jennifer didn't win - just because she wins everything, and it's GREAT Lupita is recognised for her amazing work.

Oooh look - Brad's very happy with that decision.

Love her dress!

keeshlo said...

Hooray Oprah lost! Another beautiful Color on Lupita

Laura said...

She was so happy to win!

Anonymous said...

Look at Jennifer's pretend smile ... meeeeeow!

Hee hee!

Betty K said...

Great speech... I love when the winner is prepared and gracious

Anonymous said...

Oooh - Liza Minnelli - looking rough there.

Amy Adams seems quite nervous ...

ninotchka said...

Awww... so sweet. Good for her and she deserved it although I'm not mad at JLaw - she was great too.

LIZA!

American Hustle trio. Great flick and they were all good in it.

Anonymous said...

Anyone else find it surprising that Amy was the lead, and Jennifer the supporting, actress in that movie - not the other way 'round?

Anonymous said...

Jennifer Garner really annoys me! I think it's that thing she does with her mouth ...

Betty K said...

J garner is stunning

Anonymous said...

Oh no! I hope James doesn't win post-humously :-(

Anonymous said...

Funny how nobody's eating their food ...

JARED!!!! Yummmmmmm ... but would be better with a decent haircut, no facial hair and a bit of weight

ninotchka said...

Mmm... Fassy. Delish.

It'll probably go to Leto.

Jen Garner - zzzzz.

LETO! Well he was fantastic in DBC - no hate.

keeshlo said...

I liked that James Gandolphini movie. But Jared Letto was SO awesome in DBC. RIP JG!

Anonymous said...

HELP. Where can I watch online?

Betty K said...

An hombre in ombré...really that hair.

Steampunk Jazz said...

Tbs or TNT

Anonymous said...

It's fantastic that James was nominated - given that the the nominations for these awards come from those working within the industry itself - awwwwww, Jared just acknowledged him, bless!!!! - but it would have been really sad in a way if he had won :-(

Gotta love a guy that loves his Mum ... <3 Jared!

Anonymous said...

@Pip Squeak - do you not have access to E! on TV? That's where I'm watching it ...

ninotchka said...

Jared - you should dedicate it to your mom, she's sitting right there.

Too bad Fassy didn't bring his huge cock to the show.

Aww... James Gandolfini. So sad.

Oh good, he did a tribute Mom. Oh no you di'nt diss McBong's all right all right all right. He will cut a bitch, Rayon.

Steampunk Jazz said...

Oh nice, the sagawards site is highlighting the winners as it goes...

keeshlo said...

Oh no Kerry W. That shirt/dress thing. Ooof!

Anonymous said...

Betty K said...

I love veep. Maxim looks much better since the divorce.

Steampunk Jazz said...

Could someone announce the category as its announced?

Betty K said...

This was best tv comedy actress

Anonymous said...

Whoever said the other day that Rob Lowe's wife looks like an old Avril Lavigne was right ...!

OneEyeCharlie said...

I will say this again. Josh Holloway "Damn!"

Betty K said...

Now it's actor in tv comedy

ninotchka said...

Kerry's outfit is awful and her speech impediment really annoys me.

Julia LD does this sidekick thank you bit again. Oh well.

I don't recognize either one of these people. Miss big ponytail and Mr. handsome face.

Anonymous said...

Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series - winner is:

Ty Burrell

OneEyeCharlie said...

Is that Eddie Munster?

ninotchka said...

Yeah, I still don't know Mr. Handsome and Miss Ponytail.

Oh god, not that science geek guy again please.

YAAY. I love Ty Burell.

Betty K said...

Wow...the vote must have split and Ty Burrell won. He's funny but no Michael bluth

Anonymous said...

@ninotchka - she's in one of those crime series programmes ... I can't think which one ... maybe NCIS?

Betty K said...

Ty is crushing his acceptance speech. Really great.

Anonymous said...

Forest Whittaker and Oprah Winfrey are presenting now ...

ninotchka said...

Oh poor Don Cheadle. He's a serious actor and as much as I like Ty Burrell, Cheadle is brilliant and doesn't get enough love from his peers.

Aww, Ty Burrell's being funny. Cute.

Anonymous said...

Second film nominated for oustanding cast - The Butler ...

OneEyeCharlie said...

Jesus. Oprah's breasts. Did they suddenly get larger?

Zeeky_Boogy_Doog said...

Rats, I don't have cable. Just as well, Wonder Woman is on MeTV! I think it's the first episode.

ninotchka said...

Oooh Dame Helen looking evil and fierce.

Oprah sucks the life out of the room. Forrest Whitaker's lost a lot of weight. Maybe it was the hookers and blow.

The Butler was a good movie, it won't win anything but it was well done.

Anonymous said...

John Goodman is presenting now ... sounds husky ... announcing nominees for the category of outstanding ensemble in a comedy series

keeshlo said...

LOVE Goodman!! Always great in everything!

Anonymous said...

@Charlie - no; she's just fat :-)

Betty K said...

Joaquin from Her and Johnny galecki in everyday look like twins.

Steampunk Jazz said...

Thanks guys, you're the best :-D

Anonymous said...

And the Actor goes to:

(while I'm waiting, how will they share it, I wonder?)

... the cast of Modern Family

... again! *Sigh*

ninotchka said...

Goodman needs more hookers and blow. Male hookers, of course. Still love him, He's great in Llewyn Davis.

30 Rock - always brilliant.

Arrested Development - also always brilliant. Coke whore Will Garnet in shades at the table. Stupid pig.

I don't watch the Big Bang Theory, I hear it's very good.

Love love love Modern Family.

I like Veep. It's very funny and I don't want it to win.

Aaaand the winnah is.....

MODERN FAMILY - Yay!

Anonymous said...

This is the fourth consecutive win for the actor cast ensemble of Modern Family (so says Mr Voiceover)

Steampunk Jazz said...

@zeeky, I'm watching law n order Criminal Intent. My fave of all the LnA's

OneEyeCharlie said...

Sofia... shut up. Just stand there and show us your chest

Anonymous said...

Sofia is babbling - someone pleeeeease push her off the stage!

Julie is definitely drunk.

Betty K said...

While modern family has been annoying me, I found myself in tears last week. The story line with Alex reminded me of high school but I didn't have a parent that realized my stress. They nailed it.

Steampunk Jazz said...

Not Goodman! He is one of those guys I think I could actually have a shot at! So...approachable.

Anonymous said...

@Zeeky - I love Wonder Woman! That's on TV here at 5:30pm our time (three hours away), followed by Charlie's Angels and then Fantasty Island. I love retro TV! :-)

ninotchka said...

Oops. Will ARNETT - still a stupid pig.

Sofia Vergara is looking Oompa Loompa level orange. Has she been hanging with John Boehner?

Anonymous said...

I don't watch Modern Family, just because I can't stand Sofia and Julie ... horrible, I know :-(

Betty K said...

Does anyone watch arnetts show the millers? On paper it should be awesome...I don't get it though.

ninotchka said...

Sorry Steampunk, Goodman is gay gay gay.

Don't worry about having a shot at getting with actors. Depending on your timing, your shot is better than you know. Seriously.

Anonymous said...

We're just returning from an ad break ...

They're showing flashbacks of award acceptances ...

Betty K said...

Now clips of sags past of the help unions give...notably insurance

Anonymous said...

Here is Ken, the President of SAG-AFTRA ...

Steampunk Jazz said...

I'm with you Betty, they have seemed to lose their edge and then they do something wonderful. So uneven now.

ninotchka said...

I need another cocktail, this thing is going to drag on forever.

I love Jack Lemmon - and GO UNION! SAG/AFTRA treated my father like gold when he was dying. GOLD.

OneEyeCharlie said...

Ken Howard is no longer a White Shadow

Anonymous said...

He's chatting about what's been achieved in the 20 years these awards have been running ... such as Tom Hanks going from Forest Gump to that Captain movie ... now thanking Directors Guild, Writers Guild, etc. ... babbling on ...

Anonymous said...

$1m gift? That's pocket change for all the folks in the room!

Anonymous said...

Awww he thanked the military canines - sweet :-)

Anonymous said...

Cate looks bored #audienceCam

Anonymous said...

Here are Don Cheedle and Julia Louis Dreyfuss, presenting ...

Betty K said...

You can probably hear his clapping without the tv. Jesus, mind the mikes av crew

Anonymous said...

Steampunk Jazz said...

They gotta promote the union stepford.

Anonymous said...

CZJ is not with him ...

Steampunk Jazz said...

Yay!

OneEyeCharlie said...

Enough with the gay innuendos Michael. We get it. Two straight guys playing gay.

Anonymous said...

Michael Douglas is wearing a very smart three piece suit with white shirt and white tie. Has just acknowledged his father who is at home. Thanked his co-nominees. Said his win is bitter-sweet ... showing a lot of love for Matt Damon.

ninotchka said...

Imissed Dame Helen and her fabulousness. Shit. I'll rewind and watch it later.

Oh Julia and Meryl - you both sucked in August Osage. Just kill each other now.

Sweet Ass Matty Damon!

I'm glad for Michael Douglass and his Liberace was fantastic but it wouldn't have been half the movie it was without Sweet Ass Matty Damon. I wish he could have won just one of these things this season.

Anyway, the lovely and talented Emma and the cute-to-die-for Ewan were funny.

Oh, Michael is going for it. So funny. Good kudos and love to Sweet Ass Matty and rightly so.

Anonymous said...

What a meanie ... it would have taken him two seconds to say "thank you to the love of my life, Catherine"

Just Another HR Lady said...

Thanks so much for the play by play all...no TNT here, I'm missing it....but not really after being here. Lol

Steampunk Jazz said...

It looks like mike is going to get the survivor vote on top of his wonderful performance. It is giving him an edge in a strong field.

OneEyeCharlie said...

Time for another vodka & cranberry juice. Minus the vodka. Craaaaaazy Saturday night

Anonymous said...

Nope I don't have TV. Anyway to watch online? The SAGs are my favorite awards show of the year.

Anonymous said...

In the meantime, thank you all for reporting!

Anonymous said...

When you don't hear from us for a while, assume we're on an ad break ... :-)

ninotchka said...

No way CZJ is any kind of shape to hit the awards shows. As for "love of his life" how would a whoremonger like Michael Douglas possibly know?

Oh dear, it's Chestica in a commercial for a diet program. Umm... well good luck to her.

Ad for the Dallas revamp - haven't heard much about that thing.

Anonymous said...

Here is Morgan Freeman ...

OneEyeCharlie said...

Stepforded and Ninotchka are doing a fine job. I'm like the dumb jock providing color commentary

Anonymous said...

Morgan is going to be presenting a Lifetime Achievement Award

Steampunk Jazz said...

Is the E website linking to live? TNT a tbs have a link but you have to have a dish or cable code to access. Pricks.

Anonymous said...

Thanks Charlie! :-)

Anonymous said...

The Award goes to ... Miss Rena Valero, I think he said? Sorry, but I've never heard of her!

ninotchka said...

Oooh, Redford before he fucked up his face and hair. I would have hit it so hard.

Aww.. George Burns. Sweet.

Oooh, it's step-grand-daughter fucking Morgan Freeman! I've loved him for years, I'd have hit it any time but... your granddaughter dude - seriously? I can't deal.

Oh Rita Moreno - YOU GO GIRL. She's killed it for years. Even in OZ she was burning it up. It's great that they're honoring her.

West Side Story forever, baby.

OneEyeCharlie said...

OT: Just picked up some Born Bronson harness boots. LOVE. Comfy and look great with jeans

Anonymous said...

They're showing everything she's done throughout the years ... a lot ... singer, dancer, actor ... she looked like a Spanish Elizabeth Taylor so was snapped up for a contract. They changed her name from Rosina.

Just Another HR Lady said...

E only live streamed the Red Carpet. :(

Anonymous said...

Sound cool, Charlie. What colour?

Anonymous said...

E is streaming the SAG Awards here in New Zealand ...

OneEyeCharlie said...

Deep chocolate brown; to the point of almost being black

Anonymous said...

She is a human rights advocate and has worked for a number of charities ... sounds like a great lady

Anonymous said...

@Charlie - awesome! I can't wait for Winter to come - it's sooo hot here ... about 28 Deg Celsius today

Steampunk Jazz said...

Damn Charlie, those are some hot boots. Rowr!!!

Anonymous said...

She's coming up onstage now to accept her award ... standing ovations all round ... kisses from Meryl, Julia and a couple of others I don't recognise

ninotchka said...

Fun fact - Rita Moreno had a smoking hot affair with... wait for it..

MARLON BRANDO. Back when he was hot.

Oh the Electric Company! Cute. The Ritz - so funny. Muppets! Rockford Files! Oz - so great as a nun. You can't fire Sister Pete!

Always a force in fighting for Human Rights - a sincere activist in a town full of fake activists.

Oh god - George W. Bush.

Nevermind - there's Barack!

The Nanny? Whatever.

Very spangly jacket she's got there.

I forgot that step-granddaughter-fucker Morgan Freeman was with her on the Electric Company. Sweet.

Betty K said...

What's with Ben afflecks sour mug?

Anonymous said...

They just showed Ben Affleck (audience shot) standing next to Jennifer Garner - didn't see him on the red carpet ... he looks rough.

Rita did a little jig on stage ... she's so happy and everyone is cheering loudly. She's out of breath.

Anonymous said...

Rita is making her speech now ... she speaks beautifully. Wow - she's 82?!!! Far out - she looks amazing! Although I'm not sure if it's my TV or if her hair really is a shade of mauve ...

Now she's singing ...

Talking of hair, Brad Pitt's looks awful - it's really, really short on the sides.

OneEyeCharlie said...

Damn. Rita sounds great singing

Anonymous said...

Cate Blanchett is smiling and clapping, and looks very pleased #AudienceShot

Steampunk Jazz said...

Where are you step? Its ( if the conversion is right) 1.1 here in Va...

Seven of Eleven said...

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

When we return - a special tribute from Tom Hanks

ninotchka said...

And she is SO FUCKING THRILLED - nice catch by the censors.

Aww... Electric Company version of SAG/AFTRA pronunciations. Cute.

She looks good for an old broad. Really good.

82?!? Holy shit.

Eww - Jeremy Irons - who I used to adore and now can't stand because he's such a pig.

Did she just hit on Jeremy Renner? Barking up the wrong tree, girl, but I admire that spunky 'tude.

Aww.. she can still sing well. Pretty. She pulled that off.

Now she's hitting on Brad. Funny.

More singing - more GOOD singing. Well done, Rita Moreno. Younger Than Spring - you betcha, baby.

Steampunk Jazz said...

Lol, 4ita Moreno played the mother on the Criminal Intent LnO I'm watching....

ninotchka said...

Sourface Ben and his hair.

I wonder if he's as fucked up tonight as he was last weekend? Hardly seems possible.

Steampunk Jazz said...

Well ninotchka, he was frozen and stiff, pale and clammy sweat gleamed on his ashen face....what do you think?

Seven of Eleven said...

Ty Burrell is the bumbling dad on Modern Family, right?

I wish E! would use Kristina Guerrero as the red carpet reporter - her husband is a Director (or Producer?) - and she knows a lot of the celebs, so her interviews would be like chats, much like Nancy O'Dell's.

Can't see G ever agreeing to that though ...
