Yes I read this weekend about Heigel's new film trying to get $150,000 to finish the film on a kickstarter like website. She really screwed the pooch!

I guess Shannen Doherty---she has a few indie films on the go. One including a bio-pic with James Franco directing about Charles Bukowski- which sounds interesting! Can't quite picture Franco and Doherty together...
Hiegl shot off her mouth...rather surprising becuase yes she was a child actor but not a child star...usually if they've been in the biz awhile they get how the system works & know better than to shot themselves in the foot...it's the child/teen stars that end up screwing themselves when they get of age

@katy, I like your theory. I wondered why they didn't bring back the Knocked Up characters in This Is 40 (except for the one photo in the hallway) and guessed it was because she was such a pain to work with, and didn't she say something snotty about the film? Way to burn your bridges, Izzy Stevens.

Heigl's got a flexible funding campaign on Indiegogo to finish the movie lmao...so even if she doesn't make the $150K goal, they still get the money minus 9%...

@Seven - I preferred Leslie Mann in that sort of movie anyway ... actually, I can't think of any movie I have lied Hiegl in. The one she did with Ashton Kutcher - "Killers" - would've been so much better without her in it.
I liked that Judd Apatow cast his wife and daughter in 'This is 40' - cute family that they are.

Seven, yes she called the movie sexist and said something about Apatow writing all his females as neurotic, I'm paraphrasing but it wasn't a smart move. Apatow has to be A+ list now right?

That nasty girl...Katherine Heigl. Lainey from Laineygossip confirmed it too. They were $150 000 short for finishing the movie and only received $8400 from donations. She is done in HoWood.
