Blind Items Revealed

November 18, 2013

This B list actress who divides her time between television and movies but has mainly had tv jobs recently and is currently unemployed was out with her child this week when she handed her child off to a random person and then sat down on a bench and cried for about fifteen minutes. People stopped to try and help the shaking actress but no one could get her to stop crying. She finally gathered enough strength to get her child and then wandered back to her car where she sat for another 30-45 minutes.

Awwww this one has SO been revealed!

Sheen has that effect on people...

TalksTooMuch said...

Huh. Postpartum is no joke, but giving the child away is a new wrinkle. This also explains the comment section for the past few months.

um, was it a girl?

Seven of Eleven said...

Bacon Ranch, where are you?

Simon said...

I am blaming Sheen. Apparently if you don't want to put up with his doucheness he fires you.

Unknown said...

This is every ones fav for some reason--I didn't think it was a big deal.

OneEyeCharlie said...

If this is true, I can't snark. We don't mock people with cancer, but have no problems with depression. No soapbox, just a simple observation.

Unknown said...

She's from my area, she should come home for awhile and recuperate. I would totally watch her little one.

Unknown said...

VIP got this right away but I didn't think it was obvious. Net Worth has her at only $14 million - no wonder she is so sad. (yes I realize rich people can be sad too and post partum depression is very real) Since this sitting on a bench, crying, and passing off baby to a stranger has become kind of a go to comment here that last several months I am glad it was revealed.

Mama Abroad said...

Is the Sheen people are mentioning Charlie or Michael? What's the story there?

I hope she gets help because she just looks so painfully thin and her cheeks so puffy. You can see every single bone in her sternum. I think she has real problems, one of which I'm sure is an eating disorder.

auntliddy said...

Shouldnt someone have called her dr or police? There is a baby involved. And not to punish, to get her help.

Good news: she looks much happier here, taken just a day ago:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2559738/Child-heart-Selma-Blair-enjoys-playtime-park-two-year-old-son-Arthur.html

(BTW, who writes this crap?! "She kept her eyes protected with a pair of black bejeweled sunglasses, and a dusting of blush to keep her cheeks radiant. A black quilted Chanel bag added a touch of class to her low-key ensemble, and her brunette locks were worn in loose, low-maintenance waves.")

She seems to be a great mum - she's often papped out and about with him, and usually smiling.

auntliddy said...

Hope shes ok now:)

@Mama Abroad - Charlie - he had her fired from his 'Anger Management' show

Krystie Rachelle said...

Well at least she had her kid with her and he isn't being raised by nannies. Just because she is rich doesn't mean she isn't allowed to get overwhelmed. Especially as a single mom.

Kristin Wigs said...

Heeey Charlie. You're dreamy when you advocate.

Kels said...

Only?! Only?! Listen to yourself! Not the source of issues, she's not worrying bout money.

Seven of Eleven said...

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this is a bunk BI. It's the second BI in that time frame that had a celeb mom handing her child off to a stranger so she could weep. Surely if Selma handed her child off to a complete stranger for 15 minutes and sobbed on a bench, with random strangers asking if they could help - wouldn't someone have called the police or CPS? If it's in LA, they would have taken a photo and sold it to TMZ. It just doesn't swing right.

Simon said...

@stepforded, the daily mail's writing is absolutely laughable. All their articles like that. I read them to get a laugh every day. Would love to meet some of the writers.

@Simon - you're not wrong there :-)

Ah thanks.

Lady Heisenberg said...

I remember reading the same kind of story but I think they attributed it to Allyson Hannigan right?

Anonymous said...

@Seven - do you recall if the other one's setting was a beach ... or did I just imagine that?

OneEyeCharlie said...

*sotto voce* heeeey Kristin. Thanks. Hope you feel better soon, Pumpkin.

Cheryl said...

There was another blind (can't remember which site) about her not knowing which shoes belonged to her kid at an indoor playpark so she grabbed several pairs and took them with her. She returned the other shoes later. If these blinds are true, it sounds like she is overwhelmed and needs a break or some better support. I have no idea what else is going on in her life...

Krystie Rachelle said...

I thought the other one was at a mall bench, and was supposed to be January jones. Enty just doesn't like single moms. It's only a matter of time before it's Hillary duff breaking down at the parks.

Kloie said...

Are you from Detroit, Vera? I am but don't live there anymore.

Unknown said...

Kels - 'irony' look it up.

Sherry said...

Kristin, Charlie is dreamy period. (I know it scares him when I say it.)

Seven of Eleven said...

@Cheryl, YUP, Selma supposedly did that, too.

AsileM said...

She's a heroin addict. Stop snorting H and take care ofnyour damn kid!

Sherry said...

She was probably crying because of her losing her job. No matter if she has $ no one likes being fired even by a crazy person.

rajahcat said...

we all have bad days right?

Alita said...

S'like goldy or coppery, just more silvery, right texas?

Scallywag said...

She was fired over the summer. This was November, possibly this day: http://celebbabylaundry.com/2013/11/selma-blair-enjoys-a-fun-day-at-the-farmers-market-with-arthur/

She seems to go to the farmer's market a lot, it must be a good distraction for the kid. It's just as likely it's about being a single mom or a personal loss than about Charlie. Or it's just everything.

Kristin Wigs said...

Sherry, we can creep on him together. He's very polite when he tells ya to take it down a few notches.

Unknown said...

Certainly one of the heavier metals Alita.

Robotica said...

I don't believe it. The paps and TMZ are always all over her any time she's out in public with her son. If this really happened it would be on TMZ. Paps would've had photos

OneEyeCharlie said...

Hey Sherry! Doesn't scare me dear, just don't think of myself that way. Plus, compliments from ladies turn me into a stuttering fool. Thank you, lovely lady.

InsomniaMama said...

Poor woman. I have a two year old boy myself, and I totally get just flipping out for 15 mins and sobbing. Its a tough age. I get the whole shoe thing too. Something weird takes over you when you know an end of the world tantrum is about to happen if you dont get out of there right then and now. At least she returned the other shoes lol

Jacq said...

She may have been upset, but it isn't illegal, what she did. And I wouldn't call CPS on someone over that. Who could know what a random stranger is crying about. CPS has way bigger fish to fry.

Zeeky_Boogy_Doog said...

What Seven said earlier. We crack on this blind because there was another very similar, and both came around the same time of the plane-blinds, where at least 300 different celebs all got drunk/high/laid on separate flights.

lucy said...

I feel for her. She's obviously not in a good place right now and probably doesn't know where to start digging out of it. She does need help, but I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt that police, cps, etc. don't need to be involved. It's entirely possible that what appeared to be a complete stranger was someone she had been talking to for awhile or had seen regularly at the playground, and that the bench was just 15 feet away. It wasn't the best judgement, but maybe at the time she thought her child was safer than with her mid-breakdown.

Sherry said...

LOL Charlie. You're like my husband. Every time I tell him how handsome he is (and it's not just me who thinks he's good looking) he makes a face. It's actually very refreshing to have someone be so unaware of their hotness. Plus he thinks he got a deal with me so that helps.

Just Another Girl said...

I agree with InsomniaMama. It could have been parent overload. It happens. And who's to say the person she handed her kid to was a stranger? It could've been a mom from a play group or an acquaintance from the park. Every mom needs a break or a breakdown every now and again.

PS said...

Selma has been to rehab several times and is a coke addict. She also tried to mend with her child's father, and it isn't working. The girl has issues; Charlie being one of them was only temporary. Selma has long been troubled.

People see a crying woman and immediately think "PND", "Mental health", "Bad" mother..

Probably just another human being who received terrible news (via cellphone) while outside.. A death, IVF / fertility results, or lost a job she might have financially needed.

Habibti said...

Poor thing. Hope she is okay now.

di butler said...

Yup, read what I wrote on the original blind. Sounds like that period was a meltdown period for her. She is looking better, though.
