Travel Tip:
Texas does not serve alcohol on Sunday before noon...I will rather fly an extra 5 hours and drink cheap airline wine than sit in an airport sober..
There is nothing quite like the feeling of being told by the check-in lady that you're a day late for your flight because you're not sure what day it is when you're on vacation.
Note: those little mini liquor bottles are fine in your carry-on.
Sure made my last flight better. That, and all the painkillers I was on LOL.
A few weeks ago, I was detained and sent back from Heathrow...thank god I chose not to bring the little minis with me...finding the vibrator I am sure was tragic enough for immigration

I love how they talk me into super sizing my drink order for only a dollar more. Of course, it doesn't take much convincing.
My last flight to NYC - there and back - the airline stewards and stewardess gave us free mini bottles on the flight. Apparently we were just as funny as we thought we were!

@Lurker Girl, I go there a few times a year to see my family. We all are originally from the Midwest. And I am the last holdout!! My parents, sister and nephews live near the Green Vally Ranch. I can't wait to leave 10* behind!!!!
I always smoke pot on the drive to the airport, when leaving on vacation, so no need to drink.
Getting drunk with a bunch of losers at 8 am holds no allure for me at all.

It is all fun and games til you miss your flight due to the drinking at said bar and then they cut you off. Damn Calgary airport!

Wow..I'm pretty hard core but I think I keep it to a dull roar for the AM flights. Now, that being said, IF you put fruit juice in it, it then becomes a breakfast drink and thus less pathetic. (See how us alcoholics do that?)
Xanax, Xanax, Xanax- I never fly without it, even if It's a super early flight.
The night before an early flight I was out really late doing shots with these guys 20 years younger than me. Huge mistake. Even xanax won't fix that.
