This former almost A list mostly movie actress who was headed to A+ listerdom not all that long ago was in a franchise and a really powerful movie all at the same time. Now, she is lucky to find work. She supports her boyfriend financially and our actress is running into hard times so talked to her ex who, is still married to her after all these years and he agreed to loan our actress some money but also wanted sex so the two have been hooking up when she is out of town on "business".

Karen, I think Mena Suvari fits to a t. There are always comments under her photo about her terrible taste in boyfriends, financially supporting them etc.

Mena never got a role that took her out of the ingenue category, and I imagine she's too old to play an ingenue now. Scarlett Johansen is handling this transition in a much more clever fashion.
I always hated 'American Beauty'. I saw it at a preview in New York City and actually boo'ed when it was over, enraging my date. Such a hateful and condescending view on the world. One of the worst 'Best Picture' winners ever.

I like Mena for this, her first husband was 20something years her senior and an established figure in entertainment, no? Guys she's been with since have looked like the equilivent of JLos Casper.

I just heard that Mejandra Delphino or whatever her name is was supposed to get Mena's role. But she made such a stink about kissing Kevin Spacey that she got canned.
