Blind Item #7- Kindness

This foreign born B list mostly television actor is best known for an internationally famous long term role that is bigger than the actors who play it. Anyway, our actor has been filming a movie in a very small town and has made it a point to spend every second possible that he is not working interacting with the people of the town. He could seriously run for mayor at this point. There is not just one specific act of kindness but he just makes himself available for photos and autographs and talking about acting and the show he was on and the movie and has never denied a request by anyone in town.

  5. TMZ is reporting that Wayne Knight was killed in a car crash.

  6. Thankfully it's just a hoax.

  7. Definitely a Doctor, I'd say Tennant since he's filming another TV series. Don't think he'll be back for Broadchurch since he was so sick.

  8. Tru Leigh, I'm pleased to be able to report that no, he's not.

  9. @TTM, maybe just a little bit. I would not turn down an evening with him and Rachel Weisz. I've had a girl crush on her forever (well, since The Mummy and she got to make out with then-hot Brandon Frasier) and Daniel Craig isn't unpleasant to look at.

Um, my RSVP might have caught fire. Damn it!

Waiting on the tenth doctor to visit mine!

He can bring David Tennant's original accent though. Fun fact: David Tennant chose his stage name from Neil Tennant of the Pet Shop Boys. Original surname is MacSomething (unsurprisingly).

  11. Tennant is filming a TV mini-series on Victoria Island in British Columbia, so this could fit him. The blind refers to a movie but that could just be a mistake.

  12. TMZ is a d-bag. I suppose they'll next report that Newman was not a real mailman.

  13. Not that Tennant isn't a sweetheart, and entirely credible for this one, I think Matt Smith may fit it better. The love he has for fans -- especially kids -- is legendary, and he's got a history of going out of his way for some, and I believe he's currently filming in America.

Even I don't have a gif worthy of JAS calling Dr Who a sweetheart.

  17. I have to agree that this is Matt Smith. He's been known to be very good to DW fans.

  18. Matt, David, Peter - it's a triumvirate of amazingness. How could you possibly pick between them?

    ReplyDelete
  19. This is either a Who cast member or a Bond. I'd like to pick David because I just adore him, but Smith is just as fine a guess too.

  20. True that @Violet. David could be all up in my TARDIS anytime.

  21. I so want to believe that the Dr. Who guys are sweethearts in real life. My boys are obsessed with the show so it's nice to think that if they're ever lucky enough to meet one of the guys, it would be a great experience.

By the way, did anybody see the video of the newest Dr (sorry, can't remember his name...my boys would be SO disappointed) talking to a young fan? It was very sweet and makes me want to watch the show with the new guy.

  22. So he could be the mayor because he is not a jackass? I totally agree with Derek here, he is just doing his job.

Otherwise, most waiters (and a lot of jobs) could be American mayors because they do the same, and earning less for it.

OT Stephen Moffats sister was my primary school teacher n met him when our school won a "make a school newspaper" comp when he was doing Press Gang :)

(Yes I'm aware of how lame I sound xD)

  25. @NaughtyNurse, I thought the same thing. Remington Steele for the tv show, and James Bond for the internationally famous role. But, has he done any more tv than Remington? I really want it to be him, have always loved the guy.

  26. Eww to Brendan Fraser...I just can't watch him in anything...def not my type. He was Encino man... Daniel Craig? Maybe.

This about a Bond, James Bond.

  27. Pierce is 50-50 TV-movies over the course of his career. He has always been a gent, so I'm sticking with him.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Brendan Fraser isn't Brendan Fraser anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Pierce Brosnan is filming a movie, on location, so add me to his list.
Oh I wish that I was on his list! :)

  30. First off, a kindness blind is mucho welcome in this sea of dark behavior. Whoever it is, person above nailed it, he's just not being an asshole. For any GOT fans, there is a speech king joffrey/dont know his name- gives about fame and how he really doesnt think hes any different than before he "just pretended to be mean" on a cable show. He further said he's invited to alot of acting q and a's, but he says at 21 he really cant fill an hour! Sounds like hes got his head on straight with good perspective on fame game.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Yes Brosnan he did a Mini series on Lifetime not too long ago

    ReplyDelete
  32. Airheads, yay! Mrs. Winterbourne, GofJ, etc. too. I loved Brendan Fraser with a serious passion. He makes me sad now.

  33. Does Benedict Cumberland fit?

    ReplyDelete
  34. i was thinking cumberbatch for Sherlock holmes too.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Alexander Skarsgard... vampires are long-term, and the Sookie Stackhouse books are globally popular.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Pierce Brosnan! He's filming something and was James Bond.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Love Brosnan! He's wonderful...

Don't understand how Brendan Fraser fell from glory?

    ReplyDelete
  38. I love Pierce Brosnan! Super nice guy.

  42. My first thought was Matt Smith, but it can't be since he's on stage with London. So David Tennant.

    ReplyDelete
  43. This may be David Tennant. He's been filming "Gracepoint" for FOX in Victoria BC. I think calling the project a movie was just an error. Anyway, I've been closely following reports of the filming & he's been spotted all over (airport, Walmart, on set, wherever) & there are many photos & stories out there from people who've met him. By all accounts he's quite nice.

By the way, this is my first post, but I am a long-time lurker. Love this site!

  44. Benedict completely fits and I'm wondering where he's filming now.

  45. Could be Eccleston. Filming HBO series The Leftovers in small towns near NYC. Actually all the actors who have played The Doctor are great.

  47. cumby for the win, being the internationally famous role (sherlock) that is definitely a long term one -- c'mon 2016 for season 4?!

  48. Henry Cavill. He is filming the Man of Steel sequel outside of Detroit. He ALWAYS poses with fans and admirers. Everyone has nothing but nice things to say about him. He was mostly known for the tv show The Tudors prior to MOS
