Blind Item #8

This former celebrity turned reality star turned celebrity turned host was with her husband shopping for rings yesterday and told her husband that she wouldn't feel comfortable wearing something that costs less than six figures because people would whisper. This guy has no idea what he is in for.

Hopefully the phrase "insecure, shallow twit with warped values" springs to mind.

That's a lot of tricks she is turning.

I saw on TMZ (god bless you holiday daytime tv viewing) that she's found (married?) a rich guy. The ring is more than the dollar signs attached though. It's the commitment behind it. (And purty diamonds don't hurt!)

No matter how much money u have, bitches will always whisper. In my neighborhood women will whisper if u haven't been to the hairdresser in a while.

The working class black woman MUST keep a nice hairstyle. Not doing so leads to gossip of: being broke, drugs etc.
The black men must keep a nice pair of shoes / sneakers on or the same gossip will spread.

So I kinda get this (FAR richer) woman keeping up appearances. We all do on some level.

I was wondering how her husband wouldn't know what he was in for. Kiebler makes that sentence make sense. Thanks VIP!

I remember being so PROUD of my engagement ring. Holding it up while I was typing/eating/driving. Then a mean, yet wealthy lady at work looked at it and said it was "sweet" because it was so "small". I was a bit cross, but I still love it! (Not a blood diamond, great cut & clarity count for something. Not to mention true love!)

I'm sure Stacy is in love.

@fancyscreenname has a valid point. Keibler is probably a gold digger, but there is something to the high societal pressure of "Your husband is worth HOW MUCH and that's all he spent? Is he cheap or does he just not think you're worth it?"

I do think that six figures for anything that isn't some sort of real estate is absurd and a little disgusting, but the guy is a billionaire. He can afford it.

is the guy a billionaire? Or is he just one on paper. He could be stock rich and cash poor.

I'm sure he lives a comfortable lifestyle but women like Stacy know how to blow through money like water.

Be interesting to see how this relationship plays out.

I've stepped in mud puddles deeper than this woman.

Bee Haven, what counts is how you feel about it.

Thanks Sylvia: I LOVE it! And it's not tiny! It's very much my taste, and we chose it together.

Karen: might I be crude and say it's a but of a pi**ing contest? Mines bigger than yours? I guess it happens at all stratas of society. As long as it's ethical, not a blood diamond.

Well, I knew this suspicious marriage came fast came and completely out of nowhere, but they actually did it SO fast that they exchanged vows without rings?

On second thought, the whole "less than six figures" thing sounds like it's about an engagement ring and not a wedding band so, I guess there's all the proof we need that these two fame wh*res (If it is indeed about Kiebler) never actually had a proposal or engagement at all before undergoing their total publicity stunt of a wedding.

Sound like they deserve each other!

Bee, people that shallow don't even know that there is bloodshed involved in the mining of precious stones.

I wouldn't feel right with a very large diamond and my husband picked the perfect size. Still incredibly happy with both the man and the jewelry.

I thought Erin Andrews for this one.

Celebrity = ESPN reporter
Reality Star = DTWS Contestant
Celebrity = back to ESPN reporter
Host = new DTWS cohost

She is apparently dating a LA Kings hockey player.

I think their love is true- I'm sure they will make it forever.

Gayeld said...

@Bee. I hope you let the air out of her tires. You love it and that’s all that counts.

Unknown said...

That's really sweet Sherry! I feel the same way!

Gayeld: she didn't park her BMW convertible at our non-for profit agency! I never thought of that!

@fancyscreename bloody hell people are harsh & stupid.

Maureen said...

Yeah. I think its a bit harsh calling Stacy those names. It's not as if they know her. If they do then I apologize. Just what makes you all think Stacy is a gold digger? Other than the fact she married a rich guy she's known for five years? Did did travel in very wealthy circles when she was with George. When you saw her and George at the beginning you could tell the attraction was genuine. They had that glow. Both if them. Really nice to see. We all knew he would move on when the comtract ended and sure enough he did.

I don't agree with all the trash talk on Stacy. She knew the guy for 5 years. My guess is she missed heterosexual sex because of her bearding for Clooney and fell in love with the sex and married the guy giving it to her. I would have walked over hot coals to be the guy.
