For as much as the inplication is supposed to be that Taylor visited the children's hospital purely out of the goodness of her heart, there sure has been a whole lot of talk and publicity about the fact that she stayed for *gasp* FOUR EXTRA HOURS. Just sayin'...

Ok I'm going to say it - and flame me all you like, but I think SMG's kid's outfit is a little inappropriate. Yeah, I know someone's going to pop up and say she's off to dance class or some such. My girls would never be allowed (prudishly folds arms under boobs and tuts).

@Bacon Ranch, right?! Can we also agree that there are some celebrities who would never visit sick kids even if there was going to be lots of publicity? Even if T-Swizzle only did it for the accolades, the fact remains that she spent five hours out of a busy schedule talking to people, getting pictures, cheering people up, etc.

One of my best friends has a son with severe CP and he is in and out of the hospital often. I can promise that if Swift showed up and spent time with him that story would be on her FB faster than you can press enter. She also would no doubt let the local paper/tv stations know about it (my friend, not the celeb).
These stories often take a life of their own like that.

While I do NOT have any little girls, my obsessive watching of Toddlers and Tiaras before I was shamed out of it leads me to believe that there are for sure leggings on under those leg warmers. Fo sho

@ violet- I agree it looks skanky, however, I do beleive those are tights. It seems like her legs are much darker than her arms. She still should be wearing pink tights though, js. You don't get to wear buff rights until you are an older jazz dancer. Going back to lurking and clutching my pearls.

Also, good on Taylor. People are so mean about her, but she keeps her nose clean and does good things. Rhianna she is not.
I've heard Taylor Momsen sing an acoustic in- studio version of her new song. Holy shit does she have an amazing voice. Very bluesy.
I like Tom Sturridge because I had a crush on his mom Phoebe Nicholls after seeing her in Brideshead Revisited. She used to get the spoiled rich girl Selma Blair type parts.

Is Shakira aware of the gorilla behind her feeling up her breast?
I've never seen people get their panties in a wad this badly over a little kid in leg warmers before in my life. I don't know what kind of titty bars all y'all are going to, but when I see leg warmers, I don't automatically think "stripper"; I think "dancer, possibly ballet". She's probably going to or coming from dance class, and maybe wanted to wear her leg warmers because it makes her feel like a "real dancer" (or else SMG put them on before they left the house so that all they'd need to do once they got to class was change into her ballet slippers and ditch the jacket). And yes, they're definitely leg warmers, not thigh-hi stockings (for starters, the latter cover the foot as well and are generally sheer...).
For all her faults, I just don't see SMG trying to pimp her daughter out or make her grow up way too fast; I do think she's smarter and more sensible than that. Charlotte is just a little girl who's either going to/from dance class, or who just wants to play ballerina for the day, most likely the former, and I just don't see it being a big damn deal.

I assumed they meant school. MY BAD! She can dress her daughter anyway she sees fit. I would never allow my daughter out without shorts on but that is just me. I also, for the record, would never do a bikini for my daughter whilst at a pool/beach. But AGAIN that's just ME...

I'm not sure who the "here we go again" is directed at as I'm new here, but if you think that Swift-or 99% of celebs for that matter-are above doing things merely for good publicity (not saying she for sure did here as NONE of us actually knows), I don't know what to tell ya.
Here's my tuppence: she's 4 years old, she's an innocent, she's not dressed older than her years, let's leave her alone to enjoy her tutu and pirate socks, okay?
