Years ago, I worked on the movie: "Crimes of Passion." One of the Actor's Stand In was dating the actor. During a break in shooting, the Stand In told me he was really the boyfriend of the Actor. Surprised, I asked, "Isn't the Actor married with kids?"
The Stand In said "Most are." He went on to say, "80% of Actors in Hollywood are Gay and they get "Married" to cover their real status." Since then, I have never looked at a Hollywood "Marriage" the same.
"Not that there is anything wrong with that!"

Years ago I worked with a young woman who was in show biz. She said off camera alot of male actors are as ladylike as you please, but once those cameras start rolling, its macho city.

Stand ins are supposed to physically resemble the subject, right? It makes me wonder if some actors aren't so much gay as really *really* into themselves. In a narcissist in front of the mirror way. Closest thing to boning themselves is a lookalike - viola, stand in starts looking pretty good.
