This is probably Halle. And ex BF or not, she is probably like me who can hold a grudge for DECADES! Could the ex be Aubrey? Director wanted him on the casting couch and he refused? I know he was a model, but he must have tried to break into acting.
Halle Berry/Westley Snipes/Spike Lee
I heard a good story about Halle a year or so ago. A friend who is a writer had a book that had been optioned for film and Halle was attached to it. My friend was on the phone with someone in the industry, and Halle got on the phone unannounced and was perfectly friendly. The deal had already been done, so there wasn't any reason for her to be nice.
I don't know if the project ever came to anything.
So, there's a nice story.
