Blind Item #5

It might be a top rated show for CBS, but these two co-stars can't stand each other. Apparently the female and male lead don't get along at all because the female lead thinks she is a much bigger star than she really is and acts like it every second on set with her demands. A couple of hit movies a decade ago don't make you a huge star.

  5. I first thought The Williams show, but I don't think it's a huge show. VIP's sounds better.

  6. I would love it if it was Buffy, but none of her movies were hits.

I like the Lucy Liu guess - isn't she rumoured to be quite the diva?

  7. God dammit u two, too!
    =p

  8. Didn't realize Lui was such a bitch. I guess she didn't have to stretch for her role in "Payback".

  10. @FSP: I hear that. The movie where she played the dominatrix did it for me.

  12. I honestly do not understand why people think they can treat others like garbage, especially in this industry where one minute you're on top of the world and the next you're getting passed up as a boat girl. Does it really kill to be nice and polite?

  13. @FSP Is your avi Angelina and her little brother??

  14. I think it was with Mel Gibson.

Quick Google, Payback, w/ Mel Gibson.

  18. Elizabeth Shue is a good guess.

  19. Here's another one, FSP. If you zoom in, you can sort of see her "special place". And if you're going to jerk off then close the curtains, ok? Nobody needs to see that.

  20. Could be Ted Danson & Elisabeth Shue.

  21. Blue Bloods, Bridget Moynahan and Tom Selleck

  22. I don't think Julianna Marguelis ever had a hit movie?

I like the Lucy Liu/Jonny Lee Miller guess.

  23. Not Elisabeth Shue. Her hit movies were 25 years ago. Lucy sounds right.

  24. @Oopsy_Daisy I think it must have to do with the sordid, even depraved things so many people must do even to get a real chance in that business, often beginning as children. The fact that so many of them clearly come from trashy backgrounds can't help either. But if you were a tween, or a teen, or even a young adult faced with spreading your legs (or cheeks, or both) in order to have a shot at the juicy roles and, most importantly, the big money, it would probably damage your psyche too. If anything, it's probably remarkable that it doesn't sour some people, and that of those it does, so many somehow manage to keep most of their depravity out of the public eye.

  25. Could Lucy Liu have stretched her face out more?
However I think this is Melissa McCarthy and her co-star.

  26. Nm I missed the decade ago thingy Lucy it is.

    ReplyDelete
  27. But Melissa didn't have hit movies a decade ago they were recently although I have also heard that Melissa and her co-star do not care for one another either.

Siding with VIP on this one.

  30. I thought it might be the Mike and Molly folks until I read "a decade ago." (Plus, haven't we heard here that they don't get along?)

  31. Please don't let this be CSI. Horns Fox has earned her acting chops, FFS.

The Crazy Ones, SMG and Mork. The two Scooby Doo movies and The Grudge were all released in 2002-2004 and all three grossed at least $180 million! Back when SMG was trying to position herself as a movie star!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I think smg and robin williams don't like each other because he made a joke about her fake tits not that she is a diva.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Elizabeth Shue? First the facts don't work out, if not that, watch 'Hamlet 2.'

Her whole role was specifically written for her to poke fun at herself for being washed up. That is like the opposite of diva.

SMG may have had a few hit movies, but the Grudge is her only really starring movie. And regardless none of these are Buffy.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I like the Shue and Danson guess.

    ReplyDelete
  36. @Scott Lawrence, while I agree that this could be Sarah Michelle Gellar, The Crazy Ones is not a top-rated show for CBS. I've read both that it's on the bubble and that it's actually been cancelled, it's ratings are that bad.

  37. Lucy got what she wanted, she's now going to be directing episodes. In her defense, she is a good actress, and she has had to fight hard against discrimination, which has come across as diva and bitchy sometimes when she wasn't always trying to be that. I'm not throwing shade on her, sometimes getting what you want requires being difficult.

    ReplyDelete
  38. @Seven Maybe Lucy got Darryl Hannah's thumb stuck up her butt (Not sure if Darryl is missing her thumb or another finger but thumb works best in this one)

  39. Sandy: Those eyes aren't from too many facelifts. She is Japanese.

      I'm OK with that.

  40. "What are you 11?"

Pretty much. My humor would never be considered high brow.

"she's not Japanese. get your facts right and this is not even funny."

Apologies on the botched ancestry. I always thought she was Japanese. After your prompting I used the Wiki and found out Beijing and Shanghai are where her parents are from. I'll try to block it out that she is from Queens. Queens is 5th on my list of favorite boroughs.

  43. This isn't Lucy and Jonny Lee.

I have been a featured background player on Elementary, 10 episodes so far.

Lucy is a complete sweetheart, not a diva at all, not at all. She often talks and laughs with the BG actors right in the Kraft snack area.

If anyone is standoffish, it's Jonny Lee, but he isn't a diva either, just a little more reserved.

  44. I agree with the SMG and Williams guess. There's already been blinds about the 2 of them not getting along.
