That is horrible.
So many people in show business are just gross beyond words.
And Chlamydia often presents no symptoms, and can also cause infertility if not treated.

Chlamydia will cause infertility, did not know that about Gonorrhea but then I've never had to.
Check out the Monty Python "Sit on my face" for a consisive list of STI's. Put a raincoat on if you don't want nasties infecting yer privates kiddos.
Sleeping around w/all and sundry generally isn't a good idea (emotionally, at least, it seems to mess up a lot of people), but you don't have to be a slut to get an STD, just foolish and/or unlucky. (Does anyone besides me remember the PSA from back in the '70s that featured clips of everyone from a sweet young couple to a mother and baby to an elderly person, while the song in the background trilled "VD...is for everyone..."? BINGO.) And yes, gonorrhea can affect fertility, especially in women; in the past it was known as "the preventer of life" for exactly this reason. Remember, kids: syphilis will rot your brain and kill you; gonorrhea may or may not kill you, but it'll make you sterile; neither of them is anything you want to deal with, so practice safe sex, damn it!
