Blind Item #2

This former star NFL quarterback, who may or may not have a job and team this season despite being a huge name as recently as two years ago was spotted at a very high profile event this weekend and was crazy drunk. So drunk that he kept asking women to show him their breasts and kept grabbing women to tell them who he was and how they should hook up with him.

If you have to tell them who you are...

Vince Young or Michael Vick. Romo is in no danger.

Tebow, cause the thought of it makes me laugh.

Tebow, lol. Well, he doesn't have a team, does he?

Sanchez

Mark Sanchez

Players at the WHCD:
Romo
Can Newton
Luck
Adrian Peterson

No clue who they are though. Sandy?

Diner said...

I thought Sanchez, too. Jets just let him go and he doesn't have a job right now.

GatorGirl said...

Tebow would NOT do that don't go there! Ok carry on

sandybrook said...

Yeah I came back to add Sanchez.

Violet said...

Adrain Peterson.

I have no clue actually, I just googled who was at the WH dinner.

sandybrook said...

the first 3 are starting quarterbacks in no danger. The 4th is the best running back in football.

Violet said...

Adrian even.

Sanchez got signed to the Eagles not even a week after being cut by the Jets.

Tebow, he's no virgin anymore

Kno Won said...

Sanchez does have a smarmy reputation, in addition to being a shit QB.
Sadly, he's been signed by my team. But we're accustomed to misery.

Henriette said...

Got to be Tebow.

Kristin Wigs said...

Well shit. Tebow was at the dinner.

Violet said...

I thought the underlying assumption was that Tim was gay?

sandybrook said...

Enty, if this is Tebow you lie! He was never a star QB in the NFL. He wasn't even good enough to start over Sanchez for the pitiful Jets and he's out of football because no team wants to sign him! :(

Sanchez was hammered at the Kentucky Derby. Apparently he can get his arm to his mouth better than he can to his receivers.

Sanchez (signed by the Eagles, but no guarantee of making it through training camp); known as a partier. Could be Vince Young, but he was a trainwreck 2 years ago and didn't play last year, so it would hardly be shocking if he again didn't have a team this year.

P.S. It's DEFINITELY not someone on the list above, so either there had to be someone else at the WHCD... or the event in question is the Kentucky Derby. (Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers were photographed hanging out there; obviously it's neither of them, but I wouldn't be surprised to find out other QBs were around.)

Romo -- Starter in no jeopardy.

Can Newton (sp) -- One of the best young QBs in the game; got the Panthers to the playoffs last year for the first time. Not even sort of in jeopardy.

Luck -- Basically ditto above (except that the Colts have made the playoffs a bunch).

Adrian Peterson -- Not even a QB. Also, totally awesome and in no jeopardy whatsoever of not having a team.

Omgggg yall stop talking about my boy Tebow! Or I will unfriend all of you! I will!

sandybrook said...

Enty if this is Sanchez you lie again! He's not a star QB, mediocre and a complete joke yes, star no! :(

Frida said...

Tebow doesn't count as an NFL'er. He hasn't has a job since 2012.

Kristin Wigs said...

Was Sanchez ever good(star)? No clue.

All the dudes at Nerd Prom had dates, unless Tebow has/brought a sister. Gotta be Kentucky Derby.

Truer words!!

This is Dirty Sanchez. Photos of him blitzed out of his mind at the Kentucky Derby are going around on Deadspin.

As a NY Jets fan I am going with Mark Sanchez. He missed all of last season due to injury, the team cut him loose in the off-season and replaced him with Michael Vick. Plus, Sanchez had a high profile fling with one of the mainstays of this space, Eva Longoria.

Tony Romo was a huge name when he was w/Jess Simpson a couple years ago.. don't know how he's doing in FB now, though.

Mark Sanchez: http://bustedcoverage.com/2014/05/04/mark-sanchez-mightve-been-hammered-at-the-kentucky-derby/

This has Sanchez written all over it. All enty knows about him football wise is that he was QB for NY Jets and he lost his job to some rookie and didn't play much last year. Signing with the Eagles notwithstanding, Sanchez fits the blind- esp if at kentucky derby acting like a fool.

I can't believe anyone wouldn't know what Tebow looks like

This sounds like mark Sanchez but whatever happened to Matt leinert?

Unknown said...

GatorGrirl, I anxious ly await being unfriened. Is that a verb now?

Mostly I look forward to living in a world where a Never Was like Tebow is ignored entirely.

So many Nobel winners as grads from your alma mater. You must be proud.

Consider yourself unfriend ed! (Cries quietly in the corner)
I will always defend Tebow simply because he was a football god in college and it hurts that he was so insistent on only wanting to be QB in the NFL when clearly he couldn't do it. He could have played another position but refused and it's a shame.
Plus he's hot.

sandybrook said...

Tebow should consider a career as a Politician he'd win in a landslide down here.

missbunny said...

I picture him dropping to one knee. ..hand raised to the lord.. grabbing boonies.

Boobies!

No way is this Tebow.

Steven O said...

Michael Vick slaughters dogs. Ray Rice knocks his girlfriend unconscious in an elevator. Aldine Smith stashes illegal weapons in his home. But everyone jumps on Tebow because he's Christian. Nice taste you got in role models.

Unknown said...

Wasn't me. I'm not into women ;)

Anonymous said...

@Steven O, I only said Tebow because he is the most UNlikely to do this and if true, it would be a shocker. If any of these other guys mentioned did this, meh. You're right, they aren't great role models. :)

Pink Cashmere said...

All are QB's except Peterson; he's a running back.

Erik said...

Tebow.

T is not the sweet little angel that he likes to portray himself to be.

I'd love for this to be Tebow!

Ding! FSP got it! Sanchez is a total pig.

As for Michael Vick, when my daughter was 14, she was a Jr Atlanta Falcon cheerleader. They would go to events, charity crap, clinics, and occasional additions to halftime shows. At the time Vick was still here, pre dog murders. He pinned her up against the outside of the bus and kept trying to feel him up. I lost my shit, totally, and whipped out my big SWAT knife and threatened to carve the nards. Not saying he couldn't have gotten it away from me with zero effort, at all, and if I managed one good stab, it would've had to be a good one, lol. We had to get the coach to threaten him w suspension to keep him away from the underagers. I hate that POS

di butler said...

Curious question here, why are y'all so anxious for Tebow to be so shady and bad? Seems kinda shitty to want to drag down a basically fairly decent kid...

Erik said...

1.) I hate Vick too (I have no idea who Ray Rice and Aldine Smith are).
2.) I don't hate Tebow at all, I just think he was too self-righteous about the whole virgin thing.

Erik said...

PS: Tebowing, also, very obnoxious.

Unknown said...

Tebow is not a bad guy, he's just not the saintly virgin that he tried to portray himself to be. Had he just been himself, he'd have been an average good guy with the same vices as others, and a so-so player. He sold himself well from a PR stand point. However, it's offensive to me when people wear their religion on their sleeve to make a buck.

Vick is a flaming asswipe. He will never get a pass from me. He's only sorry when he gets caught.

Unknown said...

I'm sorry Di that your daughter had that terribly frightening experience. So glad that you were with her and prepared to fight that bastard. You did the right thing by standing up to Vick and insisting that the coach take responsibility for all of the young people, but I don't have to tell you that. You're a smart, tough cookie :)

di butler said...

Wanted to add, the reason I told that about Vick, if you needed fresh outrage/more reasons to loathe.
