This former B list celebrity who is probably more known for his almost A list celebrity ex than anything else he has done in the past five years was busted backstage at a recent concert (not his own) doing some meth with two of the roadies of the band he was there to watch.

Like I have said before I met him briefly once and he was really nice. That being said he is very lost. Avrils no walk in the park but she really is not THAT bad. And don't forget he dated Paris for almost a year...
Poor Deryck. So ugly and with his nAme spelt so peculiar. He didn't stand a chance.

I'll say this as diplomatically as I can. That explains the dramatic changes to his appearance.

I feel bad for him but damn he's lucky to be alive. Talk about alcoholism. He's like Frank Gallagher from Shameless .
Apparently he almost just died from alcohol poisoning. Hope he gets it together.

Yes he looks horrible in the one photo they had - he looked totally jaundiced - I think both his kidney and liver must have shut down.
It is odd how some people seem to be able to abuse their bodies and live to a ripe old age and other people just can't. I mean most of the bands from the 80s still touring how are they still alive and granted they have lost a few members along the way. AC/DC's first lead singer died from alcohol poisoning.
Is ANYONE surprised over this guys' using career? I hope this hospital stay is his last bottom...I wish him the best.
Never really been a fan of his music or ex wife's but I feel kinda bad for him. Poor guy. He must have some epic demons & addictions. I saw that Daily Mail article with him discussing the state and shape his body is in after years of abuse. He was super close to death.
He must have been messed up to date Parasite for a year.
Glad he's on the road to recovery now.
He seems like a sweetie, and doesn't have angry little man syndrome like some guys do. Meth would make sense since his face has become very disfigured. Alcohol will cause bloat, and a red, lumpy nose and cheeks (rosacea), but it won't disfigure a face to this extent until much later in life.
I hope he gets through this. If not, he won't make it through the year, especially if he decides to trade alcohol for meth.
When I saw his latest pic I just said 'methface' without reading it. This just confirms it.
This makes me sad.
