Blind Item #1

This former B list mostly television actress from a now canceled almost network big hit has been trying out the dating world. The actress who has been on again and off again with her former co-star has been set up on some blind dates. Two of the last three blind dates have seen the guys walk out on her. One was just during coffee. The other was during dinner. That guy did pay the bill though as he walked out.

The one from Gossip Girl that named her children after her purses? Kelly Rutherford?

Jessics Szhor maybe? Or somebody else from that show, too early for me

Oh dang, missed the part about costar, never mind!

Oh I would never go on a blind date for fear of just that.

She must be pleasant to speak with whoever she is.

Probably halitosis, Sandy.

Lost wasn't canceled.

Slightly better than B.O. which might have us guessing Taylor Momsen instead Charlie.

I agree with TTM. Kelly Rutherford dated co-star Matthew Settle, & GG fits the "almost network big hit" designation according to other Enty blinds with GG peeps.

She'd have to be doing something pretty awful for more than one person to GTFO. Assuming she has a functioning vagina, is still attractive and the men are straight. I'll buy the smell factor. It's tough to get around stench.
What happened with Guy #3?

Oooh, thank you! I didn't realise she'd dated a costar, I just thought it sounded like her cause of the dough

I dunno. Men are pigs. I went on an online date in LA once upon a time, and as soon as the guy saw me he decided he had to leave--I mean, like within 30 seconds of saying hello. Considering I had driven 45 minutes to meet him, I at least expected him to sit through a cup of coffee. When I got home, he had sent me an e-mail saying that he "didn't feel any chemistry, so he didn't want to waste his time." I replied that I understood. After all, there are certain disappointments in life--for instance, he didn't sound like a dumbass when we talked on the phone.

Halitosis has made me run away very, very quickly.
When the smell can be smelled several feet away, it ain't my place to stick around.

Meh, I've done the same and will do it again. Happens about the time of:
Him - So do you do drugs?
Me - No, not my thing. You?
Him - No, just prozac. It's really helping me.
Me - face turns pale, heart races, drinks water to look convincing. Heads towards bathroom as soon as I see waiter. Give him $10 for my coffee/drink. Slinks out the door.

I would be surprised Rutherford could get a date after a dude Google's her and sees an article about her divorce.

@_ I feel bad for the dude on Prozac. Such stigma and stereotype about mental health isn't fair to the person born with a brain that doesn't produce enough serotonin. Especially as Prozac works wonders for some people, it gives them the chance to love a life most people (seemingly including you) take for granted.

I hope your kids/siblings/loved ones never have to deal with that stigma and painful rejection based solely on ignorance and fear mongering!

TalksTooMuch said...

I was gonna ask, what's wrong with Prozac? Would you rather he said he was doing fine, just self-medicating for some mental illness? Honestly, though, how is that a deal breaker?

Unknown said...

I would think Prozac would be the least of your worries. Coke, meth, opiates = deal breaker

This person has to be doing something to make them run away. Even if it's just for coffee and you don't feel any chemistry there is no reason why you cannot have a cuppa and talk and tell them to your face. They might be feeling the same thing. So okay, you cut your loses and go.

But if the guy walked out during dinner, whoa. Something is seriously up.

It's either BO or she comes on too strong.
