Eh. Maybe the stars in the sky were pretty? There's a huge difference between doing it because you have to and doing it because you want to. Nice to have a fallback plan. I did not have that in Ft Lauderdale, 1984. Ooooh Spring Break, you almost broke me.
My googling of the Cannes pulled up a hilarious story about Leo snubbing the Biebs. Ha!

He's doing the film fest tour right now promoting a the Man of Tai Chi. And he's FORMER A-List. MM is definitely still A and even with all of Depp's flops, so is he.
Maybe he's into nature....
I don't really see the scandal in this. Plenty of people have the means to upgrade and simply choose not to. Whatever floats your boat!

@mindy, Keanu is forever A list. But he's also very private, I don't see him sleeping on a beach where he could be pursued by paps or seen by the public.
I would have a hard time calling Depp or MM former A list, even though Johnny Depp is a bit of a joke now. But perhaps Depp? "Mostly movies" would fit him.
Sleeping on the beach is amazing. Not all the time, but 2 nights is great. Suprised someone didn't snap a picture of the A Lister though.

I'm going with Keanu. No way it's the Texas TRex - he just won the Oscar and True Detective was a big hit - no way he's former A+.
